The Look
Wellington Boots were some of the first waterproof rubber boots to be worn. While they were considered fashionable among British aristocracy, the dark brown and black tones would soon be considered more industrial that chic. While the concept of a waterproof boot caught on for rainy weather, the look of the boot evolved into brightly colored rubber footwear with hip patterns and designs. The boots have not only become a fashion statement in the rain, but also a fun boot to wear even in colder months.
