Raf Simons is a Belgian designer. His labels are Raf Simons and Raf by Raf Simons. He studied industrial and furniture design. He self taught to become a menswear designer and started the Raf Simons label in 1995. From 2005 onwards he is the creative director for the Jil Sander label owned by Prada.
Life and Career
Raf Simon was born in Neerpelt, Belgium in 1968. He worked with designers Walter Van Beirendonck, Martin Margiela and Jean-Paul Gaultier. He started the label Raf by Raf Simons in 2005.
