A carpenter named Antonio Pasin invented a small wooded wagon, the Liberty Coaster, named after the Statue of Liberty in 1917 in Chicago. The popularity of that one wagon spawned the company Radio Flyer; the red Radio Flyer wagon is one of the most recognizable toys of the 20th century. -
