Rachel Dratch

  • Rachel Dratch is a comedian best known for her work on the NBC shows Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock.

    Dratch joined that cast of of SNL as a featured player in 1999, then as a main cast member in 2001. She played many fictional characters and celebrities in her seven seasons on the show. He most popular recurring character was Debbie Downer, a woman who creeps out her friends with various depressing non sequiters. The first time the sketch aired, nearly all of the participants (including Dratch) broke character due to inadvertent laughter.

    Dratch left SNL in 2006 to join the show 30 Rock. She appeared in various cameos during the show's first season. However, she has not appeared in any recent episodes.
