Rachel Blanchard is a Canadian actress. She was born on March 19, 1976 in Ontario, Canada. She has two siblings. Blanchard attended Havergal College in Toronto and later enrolled in Queen's University. In 2001, Blanchard ranked #73 on FHM's "100 Sexiest Women of the Year" list. In 2002, she ranked #37.

Acting Career
Blanchard landed a role in The Kids of Degrassi Street as the eight year old character Melanie Schlegel. In 1988, she was cast in the television series War of the Worlds. Since then, she has appeared in Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Chris Cross, Young Ivanhoe, Iron Eagle IV, Clueless (TV series), Carrie 2, Road Trip and Sugar & Spice. Her more recent works include The Wild Dogs, 7th Heaven, Peep Show, Without a Paddle, Where the Truth Lies, Snakes on a Plane, Careless and Flight of the Conchords.
