Ra Ra Riot

Chamber pop band Ra Ra Riot are known for their energetic live shows. The band formed while studying at Syracuse University, and started building an audience by playing shows around campus.

John Ryan Pike

One of the band's founding members, drummer John Ryan Pike, went missing after a June, 2007 show near the town of Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. Several days later, his body was found in the nearby bay. He was 23 years old.
V2 Records

On the strength of the band's first collection of songs, they were signed to major label V2 records. During a show in Cambridge, Massachusetts in April of 2008, they announced that their first full-length album would be available later that year.
