R. Kelly

-->
  • R. Kelly had more Top 40 hits in the 1990s than any other male artist, although his legal troubles involving child pornography have made news as much as his often ultra-sexual R&B music.

    Private Investigator Charles Freeman filed suit against Kelly in late February of 2009 after claims that he was never paid his fee of $300,000 for services rendered during Kelly's 2008 porn trial, in which Kelly was found not guilty. Freeman claims in the lawsuit that he was hired to "obtain and/or recover certain tapes that were said to incriminate" Kelly.TMZ: PO'ed P.I. Sues R. Kelly (March 2, 2009)
