Steps to Quilting
- Select a pattern, fabric and batting
- Measure and cut fabrics to make blocks from the pattern
- Sew the cut pieces of fabric together to make blocks, then sew the blocks together to make a finished top piece
- Place batting and backing inside, layering batting and backing
- Quilt by hand or use a sewing machine to quilt through all the layers
- Square and trim excess batting up.
- Finish by applying binding
