Quiet Riot

  • Quiet Riot was a hard rock glam metal band who achieved success in the mid 1980s. Their cover of "Cum On Feel The Noize", originally recorded by the band Slade, reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1983. Their album Mental Health was the first heavy metal album to make it to the number one spot on the Billboard Music Charts pop album chart.
  • Members

    Quiet Riot had a number of member who have come and gone throughout the years. The band began with bassist Kelly Garni and Randy Rhoads. The original line up also included Singer Kevin DuBrow and Drew Forsyth on drums. After releasing their debut album Quiet Riot in 1977, Garni left and was replaced by Rudy Sarzo. Rhoads went on to join Ozzy Osbourne's band Black Sabbath and Greg Leon joined as his replacement.

    For a short time the band was re-named DuBrow. After Roads died in 1982, the band regrouped again under the name quiet riot and the members frequently changed. There have been over 20 members who have at one time been a part of the band.
