Middlebury College will be hosting the third annual intercollegiate Quidditch World Cup on October 25, 2009. based on the game originated by J.K. Rowling in her Harry Potter series, this college club sport is based firmly on the ground. Participants wear robes, ride on brooms, and attempt to catch the golden snitch to end the game.
