He landed a job as a video store clerk in a store named Video Archives, located in Manhattan Beach. Tarantino burst onto the Hollywood scene with his popular screenplay True Romance. He would follow that up with his film Reservoir Dogs. After the success of that film he completed the Oscar-winning film Pulp Fiction. He has established himself, as one of the premiere and respected directors and producers in the business, with his popular films Jackie Brown, starring Samuel L. Jackson, and the Kill Bill films with Uma Thurman. He is a frequent collaborator with director Robert Rodriguez working together on the films From Dusk Till Dawn, Four Rooms, Sin City and Grindhouse.-
