Queen is an enormously successful rock and roll band from the 1970s and 1980s. Some of their hits include "Bohemian Rhapsody," "We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions," "Killer Queen," "Another One Bites the Dust," and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" among many others. Their music is characterized by countless overdubs of guitar and vocal harmonies, often creating a grandiose, operatic feel to their songs.

Losing Freddie Mercury
Mercury, the lead singer, died of AIDS in 1991. In 1995, the band released Made in Heaven, an album using vocals recorded by Mercury before his death. Queen eventually began touring with former Bad Company singer Paul Rodgers under the name "Queen + Paul Rodgers." In 2008, they announced they would release a new album with Rodgers as the singer.
