Queen Elizabeth I was the Queen of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales from November 17, 1558 until her death on March 24, 1603. She is sometimes referred to as The Virgin Queen, Gloriana, The Faerie Queen or Good Queen Bes. Elizabeth was the sixth and final monarch of the Tudor dynasty. Her mother was Henry VIII's second wife, Anne Boleyn.
