Quake was one of the first mainstream computer games to use a full 3D game engine. The plot involves a Marine traveling through alternate dimensions to prevent a demonic invasion, similar to the hit video game Doom.
Gameplay
Each game in the Quake series is unique and unlike its predecessor. Quake follows a marine who trying to stop a demonic invasion. Quake II follows an invasion on an alien planet for retaliation of an attack on Earth. Quake III does not have a plot, but follows Tank Jr. and Bitterman and connects with the Quake II game.
