Qantas Emergencies
The emergency landing on August 2, 2008, came just over a week after a Qantas jet was forced to make an emergency landing in the Philippines, after an oxygen canister exploded and punched a huge hole in the side of the plane. Additionally, on July 29, 2008, another Qantas jet reportedly had to return to the airport when a door opened mid-flight. Qantas has denied that the three incidents point to larger safety issues for the airline.FOXNews.com: Qantas Jet Makes Emergency Landing Because of Leak... (August 2, 2008) -
