D3 Publisher confirmed that the Nintendo DS version of Puzzle Quest Galactrix will be released on February 24, 2009. Release dates for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions of the game have not yet been confirmed.

About the Game
Puzzle Quest: Galactrix is the sequel to Challenge of the Warlords, which was released in 2007 for multiple platforms. The games offer gameplay similar to Bejeweled, a puzzle game in which the player matches gems according to color. Challenge of the Warlords had traditional RPG elements, while Galactrix is set in a sci-fi universe. -
Story
In Puzzle Quest: Galactrix, four mega corporations rule the galaxy and one of them has been conducting dangerous scientific experiments. Another race wants to exterminate mankind and put an end to the experiments. The player takes on the role of a novice pilot on a mission to stop this from happening. -
Gameplay
Galactrix is, at the core, a simple puzzle game. The player battles against an AI or human opponent. The multiplayer mode allows up to 4 players to play simultaneously.
