• Pushing Daisies was a dramatic television series with comedic overtones. The show aired on ABC, on Wednesdays at 8/7c.   Created by Bryan Fuller, the show premiered on October 3, 2007. Nine of the show's initial 22-episodes aired before the writers strike shut down production. The show was picked up for the 2008-2009 television season, ABC had planned not to continue the series for the second-half of the season.   The show is known for distinctive visual aesthetics. Production designer Michael Wylie has been quoted as saying, "My goal was a storybook come to life. I wanted everything to look almost like an illustration."
