  • Pushing Daisies was a dramatic television series with comedic overtones. The show aired on ABC, on Wednesdays at 8/7c. Its main character Ned has the extraordinary ability to temporarily revive dead things, including people, just by his touch. However, if he touched the same thing twice, it died again.

    Created by Bryan Fuller, the show premiered on October 3, 2007. Nine of the show's initial 22-episodes aired before the writers strike shut down production. The show was picked up for the 2008-2009 television season, ABC had planned not to continue the series for the second-half of the season.     The show is known for distinctive visual aesthetics. Production designer Michael Wylie has been quoted as saying, "My goal was a storybook come to life. I wanted everything to look almost like an illustration."
