Plot Summary
Punch-Drunk Love is a dark comedy centering around Barry Egan, a romantic, frustrated owner of a small business in the San Fernando Valley. During a vulnerable moment, Barry contacts a phone sex operator who threatens him with blackmail. When one of his sisters fixes him up with a young English woman, Lena, his actions take a 180 degree turn.
