Pulp Fiction

Pulp Fiction is a crime drama released in 1994, written by Quentin Tarantino and produced by Lawrence Bender. The film is known for its off beat storyline, and references to the pop culture, while mixing humor with violence.

Plot

Two hitmen, Jules Winnfield and Vincent Vega go in search of a suitcase which was stolen from mob boss Marsellus Wallace. They run into many situations along the way, usually ending with someone being killed.

Trivia

  • The scene where Vincent slammes the syringe into Mia's chest was filmed by pulling the needle out then played backwards.
  • When first confronted with the part of Mia Wallance, Uma Thurman turned it down, only to have Quentin Tarantino desperately trying to convince her to take on the role, which she later accepted.
  • "Vincent Vega", is the brother of "Vic Vega", or "Mr. Blonde" from Reservoir Dogs.
  • The word f--k was used 265 times.
  • Pulp Fiction cost $8 million to make, $5 million of it went to pay the actors.
