The Psycho "shower scene" in which Janet Leigh's character is stabbed to death is one of the silver screen's most memorable moments, and certainly one of its most chilling. Chocolate syrup was used to represent the blood swirling down the drain, and only three split-second shots (out of approximately 50 total) show the knife penetrating skin. -
