The next generation update of the Sony PSP, named the PSP Go!, expected to be unveiled at the 2009 E3 conference on June 2, 2009,1Up.com: New PSP Named And Coming This Fall (April 28, 2009) was leaked in June's issue of Qore released on May 30, 2009. Details about the unit include a smaller version of the PSP-3000 where the top portion slides up to reveal the D-Pad, Select button, Start button, and traditional face buttons. The screen is expected to be 3.8 inches and weigh 44 percent less than the PSP-3000. In addition, there is no UMD drive.
