Physical Description

Behavior
The Przewalskis horse travels in large herds of females and foals with one dominant male. Bachelor groups, comprised of non breeding males, stay separate from the harem groups.San Diego Zoo: Przewalski's Horse
Reintroduction
In 1992, sixteen Przewalskis horses were reintroduced into Mongolia in what is now Hustai National Park. By 2005 the population of Przewalskis horses in the park had grown to 1500. Przewalskis have also been reintroduced in China and Kazakhstan.San Diego Zoo: Przewalski's Horse
