Prince is a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, guitarist, composer and performer whose career has spanned over three decades and produced scores of hit songs and albums. Prince got his start playing in the Minneapolis club scene and eventually moved on to writing, recording and producing his own records.
Prince disclosed in an interview with Tavis Smiley on April 27, 2009, that he suffered with epilepsy as a child. Prince has been entertaining the world for over 30 years. A career that has awarded him seven Grammy's, a Golden Globe, an Academy Award and a induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in 2004.
Adding one more to the list of well deserved honors, Prince Rogers Nelson will recieve BET's Lifetime Achievement Award. The Awards will air on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 8pm/CT.
Literary Agency Lawsuit

Album at Target
Prince signed a deal to distribute his new three-disc album set exclusively through Target. The three-disc set includes Prince's albums MPLSound and Lotusflow3r, as well as an album by his protege Bria Valente. The albums were released on March 29, 2009. Career Highlights
After a string of hits during the 1980s including Little Red Corvette, 1999 and Delirious, Prince ventured into acting with the 1984 movie Purple Rain. The soundtrack of the movie became Prince's biggest hit and won him an Academy Award for "Best Original Song Score." While Prince has gone through a number of name changes over the years from "Prince" to "The Unpronounceable Symbol" to "The Artist Formerly Known as Prince" and back to "Prince" due to a legal dispute with Warner Bros. Records, he has continued to write, record and perform.
