Prince Paul is DJ and Hip-Hop producer. In addition to his solo work and contributions as a member of Handsome Boy Modeling School, he has produced for such notable artists as De La Soul, Kool Keith, the classic Hip-Hop group Stetsasonic and the somewhat less notable novelty act MC Paul Barman. Prince Paul's trademarks—eclectic samples and an irrepressible sense of humor—are exemplified by the first two De La Soul albums, 1989's 3 Feet High and Rising and its 1991 follow up, De La Soul Is Dead. Prince Paul is also a member of the Hip-Hop supergroup Gravediggaz, along with members of Wu-Tang Clan, Stetsasonic and Brothers Grimm.
