Prince of Persia The Sands of Time is a continuation and the fifth game in the series of Prince of Persia Series games. Due to the success of this game, Ubisoft chose to release two sequels, Warrior Within and The Two Thrones.

Story
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time takes place in the scorched, sandy land of Persia. The focus of the game is to locate the dark powers of a magical dagger, which controlled the land of Persia in a time of blood and deceit. The player controls the Prince as he tries to find the dagger to repair the damage from earlier centuries. Together with Farah, they attempt to restore the "sands of time" to the hourglass of time. However, Farah had her people under control of the dagger so she uses the Prince to retrieve the dagger herself.Gameplay
The Prince is equipped with many capabilities to make it easier to fight any enemies you encounter. He has the ability to run on walls and leap over many traps and obstacles. After you recover the dagger of time, you will have a limited use of it. In order to regenerate the dagger, you must kill your enemies, which in turn increase sands of time to help make the dagger last longer.Version Specific Features
Each of the different versions of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time features different mini-games and features. The Nintendo GameCube version of the game features the ability to regenerate the Prince while having a Game Boy Advance plugged in. The Xbox version includes Prince of Persia and Prince of Persia 2. The PS2 version of the game bundles the original Prince of Persia game.-
