Introduction - Controls
- Square is for regular attacks with the Prince's sword. Triangle is for using the Dagger of Time. When you've knocked an enemy to the ground, use Triangle to absorb the sands and vanquish it. If they're still standing, use Triangle to use the Freeze ability, then attack with Square to finish them off.
- X is used primarily for jumping in the acrobatic sections of the game. Use the analog stick to run toward an edge, and hit X to jump across a gap. In battle, use X in conjunction with the analog stick to roll and avoid attacks, or to vault over enemies and use Square to knock them to the ground, or Triangle to absorb them into the dagger during the vault. You can also use X to spring off of walls, by pressing X then Square in quick succession to launch the Prince at the enemies, or to vault using the wall over enemies that normally resist vaulting by pressing X twice when against the wall.
- Circle will have the Prince drop from where he's standing or hanging during the climbing and acrobatic portions. During battle, Circle sheaths the Prince's weapons.
- R1 is the action button. Use R1 when moving near a wall to run across it, either straight up or horizontally. You'll also use R1 to drink water, hold cranks and wall switches, and push blocks. During combat, hold R1 to block. During the acrobatic portions, R1 will let you swing when on a pole or a rope.
- L1 is for using the Dagger of Time's powers. Hold L1 to rewind time by up to 10 seconds, tap it to slow down time, and press L1 while holding R1 to use the Fast Forward ability. More detail below.
- R2 puts the camera into First-Person view, which is useful for planning out the acrobatics.
- L2 puts the camera into Landscape View, which pulls the camera back and puts it in a fixed position. This is useful for orienting yourself, and will sometimes give you a better view for solving puzzles or performing acrobatics.

The Dagger Of Time
- The Dagger of Time is the source of the Prince's many powers. There are two different meters for the various powers: Sand tanks, and power tanks. One absorbed sand creature will refill one sand tank, and half a power tank. To gain more sand tanks, seek out the Sand Clouds scattered throughout the game. Eight Sand Clouds will be one new sand tank. To gain more power tanks, absorb sand creatures. Sixteen sand creatures will create a new power tank, but you can only have as many power tanks as sand tanks. The powers granted are as follows:
- The first power the Prince will gain is The Power of Revival, or Rewind. To use it, hold L1, and time will rewind by up to 10 seconds. This will be your most used power, as it will let you recover from otherwise fatal mistakes both in combat, and during the jumping puzzles. Uses one sand tank.
- Next, the Prince will gain The Power of Delay, or Slow Motion and The Power of Restraint, or Freeze. Tap L1 and time will slow down, giving the Prince a slight advantage in battle, allowing the player to react more quickly to his enemies' attacks. Uses one power tank, and lasts ten seconds.
- The Power of Restraint, or Freeze is activated by pressing Triangle to attack a still standing enemy. The enemy will be temporarily frozen in time, allowing you to dispatch it easily. Two attacks with Square will let you chop the enemy in half. Uses one power tank.
- The last power the Prince gains is The Power of Haste. Press L1 while holding R1, and everything will appear to slow down, but the Prince will gain incredible speed for ten seconds. Tilt the analog stick to target enemies, and press Square to rush over and attack each one. Like with the Freeze ability, two attacks will destroy any enemy you attack in this period. This power is very useful when you're being overwhelmed, as it allows you to dispatch large groups of enemies quickly, and without putting yourself at risk. Uses all power tanks, so use it only when absolutely needed.
- The Dagger of Time also gives the Prince The Power of Destiny, or Visions. This power he cannot use at will, but rather will give him visions at each save point. These visions give hints as to the upcoming acrobatic sections, as well as foreshadowing for story events.

Outside The Palace
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 01 Opening (Time: 9:05)
- After you select "Start New Game," you'll gain control of the Prince, who's standing on a balcony in the rain. Head forward into the curtains to begin the game proper. The Prince will begin telling his story as the opening cut-scene commences.
- Once the cut-scene is finished, you'll regain control of the Prince. Take a minute to get used to the controls. The subtitles on the screen will give instructions on what everything does. Move forward, and an attack will hit the men manning the battering ram. On the right side of the corridor is a series of platforms. Simply move toward the lowest one to climb up, and climb up the second two. Once on the top one, get a running start and use X to leap across to the next set of platforms. Alternatively, you can hold R1 to run across the wall.
- Head to the right, and climb the platforms. Once you reach the wall, run toward it and hold R1 to run up it, then hit X to pull yourself up onto the wall. Go to the right, and an explosion will take out the rest of the wall ahead of you. Run and jump across, then head to the right. Either jump or wall-run across the gap, then head to the left, through a small room. On the other side of the room, you'll find some furniture in your way. Take out your sword with Square and hit Square to break the furniture.
- Through the doorway, you'll find a guard. Keep the sword out, and hold R1 to block. Use X and the analog stick to dodge, and attack with Square. This guard is nothing special, so just hit him until he goes down. Alternatively, move toward him and hit X to vault over him, and Square as you're coming down to finish him off quickly. Once he's down, hit Circle to sheath your sword.
- To the right, you'll see a ladder heading up the wall. Climb up it, and you'll find two guards, who can be dealt with in the same way. Once they're taken care of, go to the left on the walkway, and enter a small bath. If you took any damage in the fight, stop in the small pool here and take a drink with R1. Continue through the room and break the furniture in your path.
- Head forward, then jump down into a small courtyard with four guards. Block their attacks, then dispatch them however you see fit. Once they're down, go through the doorway on the far wall. Go down the winding hallway, and you'll emerge on a wooden walkway. A catapult will knock out a section of it, so run along the wall with R1 to get across the two gaps. Climb the ladder on the other side, and head to the left through the doorway.
- Take another drink here if you need it, and head through the room to find another quartet of guards. Run toward the far wall, and hit X to jump up and grab the ledge. Shimmy to the left, under the ornamental face. Once past the face, hit X again to climb up, then again to grab the ledge above. Shimmy to the left, around the corner and go under the next face. Past it, you'll see a lower ledge, so hit Circle to drop down, then head to the left again. Hit Circle once more to shimmy under the face, then one last time when you're over the hole in the wall, then X to climb in.
- You'll find four guards inside, so take them down. There's a water fountain on the far wall, so take a drink if you need it, then use X to climb the column next to it. Turn the Prince around the column so his back is facing the broken column toward the other side of the room and press X to jump across to it. Turn him toward the third column and jump over, then climb up and jump onto the balcony.
-
The Maharajah's Treasure Vaults
- You'll be prompted to save if you want, then you'll find yourself in a dank corridor. Run across the wall to the other side, then continue to the right. Here, you'll have to run across the right wall, then jump across the room once you're lined up with the next platform. Continue forward, and run across the wall on the right, then hit X repeatedly to wall-jump up to the next platform.
- Through the curtains, you'll find yourself in the chamber of the Dagger of Time. Start by running across the wall to the right of the entrance. From the next platform, run across the wall, then jump from the wall over to the Dagger's resting place. Two walls frame the window looking in on the Dagger, so run up the left one, and continue counter-clockwise around the room. Run across the wall to the next platform, then do it again to reach the last platform in this room.
- Through the doorway, you'll find a trapped hallway, with three spiked columns moving back and forth. Drop down to the floor, then wait for one of the columns on the side to move away from you. Follow it, then move to the center once the center column moves toward and past you and keep heading forward until you're past them.
- Run across the wall on the left, then climb up on the ledge. Shimmy to the right, as far as you'll go. Now, push the analog stick away from the ledge, and hit X to leap across the room. Shimmy down the room, and repeat the leap to get back to the other side. Two more spinning columns will pop up; wait until the near one is heading to the right to get onto the next platform.
- Here things start getting complicated. Wait until the far column is moving to the right, then run along the left wall, jumping toward the end of the run to reach the ledge on the right. Shimmy forward to reach the end of the hallway.
- Walk toward the edge, and hang off the side. Hit Circle to drop down, then again to hang from the ledge. Shimmy to the left, and the ledge will fall off. Drop down to the lowest ledge, then continue to the left. That ledge will also fall off, so jump up to the middle ledge, and continue left until, yes, that ledge falls off as well. Jump up, and continue to the left. Keep moving left, drop down, go left, drop down, go left, then up, then left, then down and left at the end of the ledges.
- Push away from the wall and hit X to reach the column. Jump from column to column around the room until you reach the last one, and slide down, hitting X to drop to the floor. Head toward the big shrine, and use the water fountains if you have to. Use R1 to run up the wall, then again to get to the statue's hands. Run up the wall to the right, then hit X at the top of the run to jump to the other hand. Go left and run up the wall to reach its shoulder. Run up the head, then keep hitting X to wall-jump up to the top and get the Dagger of Time.
- The place will start crumbling around you, so wall-run to the right out of the room. In the hallway, wall run on the left, then jump to the right to reach a stable platform. Wall run on the right wall, then jump across to another hallway. It's filled with spiked columns, so avoid them and keep moving forward. Remember, you've got the Dagger of Time now, so if you make a mistake, just hold L1 to rewind time back by 10 seconds and try again. For the last set of spiked columns here, wait until they're moving away from you, then head forward and duck into the alcoves on the side, wait for them to pass, then move on.
- Hop down from the ledge, and you'll find another set of spiked columns. Avoid them, then run and climb up the ledges to the next platform to finish the intro.
-
You Have Unleashed The Sands Of Time
- Well, now the Prince has gone and done it. After the cut-scene, you'll regain control of him in in a large room, with several sand-creatures. These guys are different from the guards you've fought so far, in that to beat them, you'll have to knock them down, then stab them with the dagger to absorb the sands. You'll find two kinds of enemies here, regular sized goons with swords, and larger ones with halberds. Neither is anything special at this point, so just block their attacks and counter with your own strikes. using Triangle to absorb them into the dagger once they're down.
- When you've finished them all, the Prince will walk into a glowing pillar of sands. These are the save-points, so save if you want. The first time you enter a save-point, you'll get a quick vision with hints to some of the jumping puzzles you'll find soon, so it's worth going into them even if you don't plan to save.
- From the save point, head toward the far end of the room to find a small pool. Take a drink if you need it, then head toward the door on the left side of the room, surrounded by debris. There'll be an opening on the side that you can pass through. Go up the stairs, and to the left. You'll spot Farah, so follow her. The path will be blocked by debris, so go through the doorway to the right.
- Head down the stairs, then drop down to the floor. You'll see a Sand Cloud on the floor. Hit Triangle to absorb it; collect eight total to get another sand tank. In the corner of the room under where you entered, you'll find a pole between columns. Jump onto it with X, then hold R1 to start swinging. Jump forward to the next pole, then again, then jump a third time to reach a ledge on the wall.
- Head to the right along the ledge to reach a platform, then wall run to the next one. Wall run from here, then jump across to the next pole before jumping to the balcony to exit the room. In the next hallway, before pursuing Farah, climb up the rubble to the right to find another Sand Cloud.
- Continue down the hallway, and you'll see a series of poles suspended across the way. Run and jump from the edge to hit the first one, then adjust yourself to make sure you won't miss the second one. The last pole is much shorter than the first three, so make sure you don't miss it.
- On the other side, take a drink if you need it, then head to the right. Through the doorway, you'll find another bedchamber. Wall run to reach the pole, then jump from it to the next two to reach the balcony on the other side of the room. Wall run to the left to reach the pole, then hit Circle repeatedly to drop down to the floor.
- You'll find a bunch of enemies down here, one type being the guard-like creatures from before, and a second type, fat ones that tend to block unless you use a counter or vault over them. At around this point, you'll have absorbed enough sand to gain a couple new powers. You can either tap L1 to put everyone into slow motion, or attack someone with Triangle to put only one enemy into slow motion, making them easier to dispatch.
- Once they're taken care of, you'll find a pole suspended near the back left corner of the room. Run up the wall, then jump to reach it. Then turn around, swing, jump, and bounce off the wall to reach the next one, and so on until you reach the top. Head through the hole to find a save point. Get the vision, then head to the right and take a drink if you need it.

Had I Really Seen Her?
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 03 Had I really seen her? (Time: 9:12)
- Head down the hall, and break the furniture in your way. Through the doorway, head to the right to find another Sand Cloud, then turn back and head to the left. Run up the wall, then jump off it to reach the pole. Turn around on the pole, then jump back toward the wall to reach the top. Through that small opening, you'll see a hole in the wall. Head through it.
- Tip: This section leads to a Health Power Up. They're hidden in side passageways, with dream-like music signaling you're on the right track.
- Through the hole, head down the hallway, and eventually you'll be transported to a strange blue area. Cross the bridges, then take a drink to increase your total health. You'll be placed back where you first saw the hole, only it's gone.
- This time, climb down the debris, jumping across to the far side, then climbing down, carefully so you don't fall and have to rewind. Wall-run across the gap and pick up the Sand Cloud, then drop through the hole. Climb down, and continue down the hallway for a cut-scene.
- After the cut-scene, you'll be attacked by a bunch of giant scarabs. They don't block, so go ahead and whack away at them, but be sure to block their attacks and try not to get swarmed by them. Once they're dead, take a drink if you need it, then head down the hallway. Go through the door on the left, and down that hallway to find another Sand Cloud.
- Head back, and go through the door across the hall, jumping across the gap to reach the platform. From there, head to the right to reach an outside balcony. After the short cut-scene, head forward and parts of the balcony will collapse. Wall-run across the gap. Head back inside through the doorway, and climb up the column at the end of the indoor balcony. Jump to the column hanging on the right, then jump to the next two.
- At the last hanging column, jump toward the wall, then hit Circle to drop down to the platform. From here, wall run and then jump to the last column; use the shadow to line up your jump. Slide down, and dispatch the scarabs there, and grab the Sand Cloud. Now, wall run and jump to the next column, then jump from there to the next one, then to the column on the platform.
- Slide down, then climb the debris in the corner. At the top of the pile, run up the wall on the right, then jump across to grab the edge of the platform, and climb up to find a Sand Cloud. Now, go to the back wall, and wall-run across to the next platform. Walk to the far edge of the platform, and hang off it, then shimmy onto the crack in the wall. Drop down to the lower crack, then go left, and drop to the next lower crack, and from there drop to the floor.
- Take out the scarabs there, head toward the green hanging tapestry. From there, jump to the left and keep jumping across the poles. Take out the scarabs waiting here, then go over to the railing. Move toward it to hang over the side, then jump from there to the pillar, and slide down to the floor.
- You'll be attacked by sand creatures, with a new type joining. These are females, and attack with knives. The usual strategies will work on them, so take them down as usual. The only caveat is they'll almost always block you if you try to vault over them and absorb them. Once they're all down, take a drink if you need it, then get the Sand Cloud in the corner. If you got the others, this should get you a new sand tank.

A Secret Passage
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 04 A Secret Passage (Time: 7:20)
- Save the game if you need to, then from there, go to the armoire to the right if you're facing the save point. Hold R1 and use the analog stick to move it out of the way, and head through the doorway. Go down the stairs until the platform ends, then wall run along the left wall, and jump to the archway. Pick up the Sand Cloud here, then step on the glowing switch to open the door. Head through it quick, because once you step off the switch, it doesn't stay open long.
- Through the door, you'll see a bridge, which will promptly get destroyed. Run across the wall, and jump from the wall to the far end of the bridge to get past. You'll find another switch; with this one, the door will close as soon as you step off it, so use the block there to weigh it down and head through.
- You'll emerge into a large puzzle room. Start by pulling the switch on the wall, which will extend a bridge to the center platform. The bridge retracts once you let go of the switch, so run and jump across it as quick as you can.
- This gets a little complicated. There's two cranks on the platform, the one on the right lowers and raises it, the one on the left rotates it. First, step on the glowing switch with the full moon. Then, rotate the platform clockwise. Raise it up one level.
- Rotate it counter clockwise as far as it'll go, then lower the platform. Hit the new moon switch, then raise the platform one level. Rotate it clockwise as far as it'll go, then raise it two levels.
- Hit the half moon switch, then rotate the whole thing clockwise. Lower it one level, and hit the crescent moon switch to grab the last axle. Raise the platform a level, then rotate it counter clockwise until they're all lined up. Finally, raise the platform all the way up to put them in.
- Now, cross the bridge that appears and climb the ladder on the far platform. Go down the walkway, then jump up to grab the switch to finish the puzzle and activate the palace defenses. Go back down the ladder to find the guard that was helping you, except he's turned into a sand creature. He's joined by another spear wielding sand creature, so take the both of them out, and head through the door.

The Palace's Defense System
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 05 The Palace's Defense System (Time: 4:49)
- Save if you want, then look to the right to find all those traps you just activated. Avoid the spinning columns, and walk to avoid turning on the spikes from the floor. Through the door, you'll see a switch. Pull it, and it'll open a door on the other side of this next set of traps. It's a timed switch, so you'll have to be quick.
- From the switch, head up the stairs and run through the spinning columns, dodging them as you go. Next, wall run to the ledge across the way, and climb up it to avoid the buzzsaw sticking out of the wall. Walk down the ledge, then jump across, hanging from the ledge this time to avoid the saw. Continue moving, then jump across the way to the platform.
- Wall run up to the next ledge, and head to the right. There's a buzz saw both above and below this one, so you'll have to jump to the ledge on the other side of the hallway to avoid them, then back to get to the end of the hallway. The door should still be open, so head through. If not, you'll have to go back and do it all again.
- You'll be attacked once you're through the door, so defend yourself and take care of the sand creatures. Once they're down, you'll find a water fountain and a Sand Cloud in the two corners of the room on either side of the save point.
-
A Booby-Trapped Courtyard
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 06 Booby Trapped Courtyard (Time: 7:39)
- On the wall near the entrance, you'll see a glowing switch. Run up the wall to hit it, which'll raise a pillar in the center of the room. Run up the pillar, then jump up to the pole above it. Swing and jump to the top of the overhang in front of you, then head to the right and jump across to the next platform.
- You'll see another trap. Roll using X to avoid this one, and head forward. Once past the trap, wall run along the left wall, and jump to the next platform. You'll see a set of spinning columns, along with another one of the sword traps. Avoid the columns and roll under the sword to get past it.
- You'll see a hanging switch. Jump over to it, then swing and jump through the door it opens. Through the door, there'll be a floor full of spikes, and a hanging ladder. Climb up on the debris, and from there wall run and jump onto the ladder. Climb up, then wall run to the left. From there, jump across to the platform against the wall, and duck behind the wall to find a Sand Cloud.
- Climb the rock here, then wall run up and jump across to the hole in the wall. Through the hole, you'll hear that dream-like music again, meaning you're in for another Health Power Up. Head down the hall, and you'll find yourself in the weird blue place again, so boost your health at the fountain.
- You'll find yourself back where the hole was. From here, head forward, and wall run to reach the pole. Jump to the next one, and from there to the crack in the wall. From there, shimmy to the right so your back is to the next platform, then jump across to it.
- A buzz saw will pop out from the wall. Wait until it's at the bottom, then wall run across the wall, passing under the saw. Jump from the wall to the platform, then run up the wall to reach a ledge. Climb up the ledge, then jump across to the pole. Turn around, and jump up to the next platform. Now, wall run back, and time it to avoid the buzz saw; again, wait until it's at the bottom, then go.
- You'll have to do it one more time, though this is trickier because it's a little farther away. Adjust your timing accordingly; start running just before it hits the bottom, then jump from the wall to the next platform. You'll find a locked door, and a water fountain.
- Keep going forward, and there'll be another gap with a buzz saw. Past it is the switch that opens the door, so run across, hit the switch, then run back to the door before it closes. There's another pull switch here, so pull it.
- Head to the right, and avoid the buzz saws as you run across the wall; the timing on both is the same, so pick whichever one's convenient first. Run forward, and duck under the sword trap, then run up the wall to hit the switch. That switch will push a platform out, so jump from the switch onto the platform, then up to the ledge.
- Climb up it, then jump across to the other side; climb up the ledges there, then shimmy left so you're opposite from the platform, and jump across. Here, you'll have to wall run across the right side. The timing's a bit tougher here, because there's two saws, but it shouldn't be too difficult. The door should still be open just enough for you to roll through if you were quick.
-
Death Of A Sand King
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 07 Death of a Sand King (Time: 7:13)
- Once you're through, you'll see a cut-scene where Farah is fighting off the Prince's sand-ified father and others. You'll gain control of the Prince in the middle of the melee. The blue spear wielders are tougher, as they'll block any attempts to vault over them. Use counter attacks to get them, and do your best to keep the lot of them away from Farah.
- When Farah is hit, her health is represented by the bow she's carrying. She'll attack the sand creatures with it, but watch out so she doesn't hit you too. Likewise, avoid hitting her with your sword. She's good for support since the sand creatures never block her arrows, but she goes down quick if she gets surrounded.
- The Prince's father will be a tough opponent. He'll block most frontal assaults, as well as counters. Roll to the side to get the drop on him, and you can combo him to your heart's content until he goes down. After you absorb him into the dagger, you'll be prompted to save.
- After the cut-scene, you'll gain control of the Prince outside the palace. Take a drink; you'll no doubt need it after that fight; the follow Farah. Jump across the platforms to where she is, then head to the next platform and dispatch the enemies there: A mix of the female knife-wielders and the short fat enemies. Farah will support you from the above platform, so you don't need to worry about her getting attacked. Eventually, though, she will join you, but these enemies won't pose as much of a threat to her.
-
I'll Try To Find A Way In
- Take a drink in the pond there if you need it, then save. Go up the stairs, then collect the Sand Cloud to the right. Head to the left, past the locked door, and wall run across the gap. The ground will crumble where you land, and you'll land on a small parapet. Wall run over to the next one, then from there to the poles. Swing and jump across them, landing on another parapet.
- Turn around, and wall run back toward where you came from, landing on a small wooden outcropping. From there, wall run to the lower platform with the crank. Turn it to open the door, then drop down to the bridge. Before heading through the door, get the Sand Cloud further out on the bridge.
- Through the door, you'll find a group of sand creatures, a mix of the fat ones, the females, and the spear wielders. Around this time, you'll fill out the power tanks, and gain a new power. Hold R1 and hit L1 to slow down time for your enemies, but speed up the Prince, turning him into a whirling dervish. Use this as a last resort for when you're surrounded, as this'll use all your power tanks.

Climbing The Tower
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 08 Climbing the Tower (Time: 7:49)
- Save once they're taken care of, then climb to the top of the pile of blocks in the room. From here, wall run up and climb up onto the ledge. Head to the right, then jump over to the pipe hanging between the pillars. Swing from there to the next pipe, then across the room to the next one. Jump to the next set of pipes between the pillars, then jump off the wall to climb up to the next one.
- Jump up the pipes, then once you're on the platform head to the right and destroy some barrels to find a water fountain. Head to the left and wall run under the buzz saw. Go through the small doorway to find another hallway leading to a Health Power Up. Head through and collect it.
- Once you're back, head back across the gap, avoiding the buzz saw. Climb the ladder, then head forward. Wall run across the gap, avoiding the two buzz saws. Do the same for the next set, and you'll hit the switch opening the door. Continue moving counter clockwise around the room, with one last wall run, to go through the door.
- Head to the right, and wall run across the spike pit. Then head down the stairs, and meet up with Farah. Head back up the stairs, and she'll squeeze through a gap, opening the nearby door for you. Follow her through the next door, and you'll enter an immense chamber.
- Head down the ramp, then wall run across and jump onto the hanging switch, allowing Farah to reach another switch. Hang onto your switch until the trap below trips, then drop down and head to the right, up the ramp. Go through the archway, and you'll find a pull switch.
- Pull it, then run past the spinning columns, taking care to avoid the spiked floor, then roll under the door before it closes. You'll be back in the hallway where you were before, so backtrack to the immense room. Head down the ramp, then wall run to where Farah is. Head down the ramp to the left, then wall run over to the platform. Avoid the trap there as best you can, by trying to time it so it goes off while you're running, then wall run to the next ramp across the room.
- Head up the ramp, and hit the switch, which'll send Farah to another switch. Head down the ramp and wall run to the next switch, and Farah will pull another one. Head down the ramp again, and wall run to reach the next switch; once Farah pulls hers, head down the ramp again and pull the last switch, and meet up with Farah on the central platform.
- Drop down from the platform and take out the sand creatures down there while Farah covers you from above. There's a new type here, an ogre-esque creature with a hammer. They tend to block frontal assaults, as well as attempts to vault and absorb them, though the regular vault attack works fine. They'll block regular counters, but not the counter-absorb.
- Once they're taken care of, use the water fountains near the locked door. There's two pressure switches near it. The one on the left raises a platform that allows you to get back onto the central platform, while the one on the right lets you get to a wall switch on the central platform.
- Facing the locked door, head to the left, and you'll find a movable block behind a large stack of crates; push it around until it's on one of the switches. On top of the set of crates to the right of the locked door, you'll find a Sand Cloud. You'll find the second movable block on top of the set of crates underneath the ramp Farah used to get to the central platform, so put it on the other pressure switch. Climb back up to Farah, save, and open the door with the wall switch and head through.

The Sultan's Zoo
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 09 The Sultan's Zoo (Time: 8:07)
- Head forward toward the towering cage, and you'll be attacked by a group of the hammer sand creatures. Dispatch them, then head up the stairway they came down to find a save point. From the save point, look for a grassy platform with a palm tree on it. Run up onto the platform, then climb up the tree. Jump up to the next level, with the larger tree on it, then drop down onto the level on the other side.
- You'll see the tree that was in the middle of the path you just took, and a suspiciously level branch is sticking out. Run and jump onto this branch, then swing and jump from the branch onto the fence. Drop down, and hit the pressure switch to open the door for Farah. You'll be attacked by some big birds. Block their attacks, and hit them each once to destroy them.
- Head down the path, and head into the doorway on the right. Move the block inside, and you'll find a crack for Farah to squeeze through. She'll open the door opposite the path, so head through. You'll be in the central structure of the menagerie, which is essentially one big platforming puzzle.
- You'll see a pole jutting out to your right. Jump onto it, then swing and jump from it to the near wall, bounding off that wall to reach the pole above it. From there, swing across the structure to another pole, then from that to the platforms along the wall. Run across the wall clockwise, and you'll find another pole sticking out of the pillar on the next platform. Jump onto the pole, then swing forward from it and the next three poles until you reach the next platform. Move counterclockwise on the platform, and you'll find a ladder. Climb up to the next level.
- From here, run counterclockwise along the wall to the next platform. From here, do the same thing, and you'll grab onto the pole between the wall and the pillar. Shimmy to the left, then swing from the pole to the exit. Jump from the hole in the cage to reach the rock outcropping. Run up the cliff face, then jump from the cliff to the branch sticking out, and swing from the branch to the top of the menagerie.
- Turn the crank in the middle, and it'll open a door back at the ground level. Jump from the roof to the outcropping with the save point. Climb down on the right until you're at the bottom platform. Go to the right edge, and hang off of it. Make sure you're above the pole sticking out of the cliff, then drop down. Turn around, then swing and jump across the poles to reach the platform on the other side.

Atop A Bird Cage
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 10 Atop a Bird's Cage (Time: 6:17)
- Before you go in the open door, head forward to the end of the path, run up the wall, then jump off it to reach the lever to open up a ladder for Farah. Follow her into the open door. Head down the hallway, and you'll be attacked by scarabs. Take them out, then go into the large room on the left. Climb onto the rock platform in the corner, then wall run toward the switch, and jump off as you cross the gold emblem in the wall to reach it.
- Go through the now open door, and grab the Sand Cloud on the small platform. Move the block away from the wall to find another crack for Farah to squeeze through, then head out of the room. Go back into the hallway, and head down the slope to the left. The door at the end will be open, so head through. Smash the barrels there, and pull the switch from the wall.
- Time for another trap filled hallway. First up is three sword traps, each with a spike tile on one side. Roll under the swords on the side of the trap without the spike tile. Jump across the spike pit, and head to the right. Run across the wall, avoiding the buzzsaws, then walk through the spike tiles to reach the exit.
-
Cliffs And Waterfall
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 11 Cliffs and Waterfall (Time: 8:01)
- Before you head across the bridge, face the door, then run across the wall to the left of the door you just came through. Climb up the tree on the other side, then jump onto the tree at the next level. Climb to the top, and jump across to the platform against the cliff wall. Deal with the birds, then run across the wall to the right. You'll grab onto a crack in the wall, so shimmy around the corner, and jump from there to a tree. Slide down, and grab the Sand Cloud.
- Now, climb back up the tree, and jump from it to the next tree on the small outcropping. Climb to the top, and jump to the next highest tree. Jump from this tree to another outcropping, and take out the birds that attack you. Take a drink in the small stream if you need it. From here, you'll see a small ledge you can walk onto along the wall, so head across, and drop down by the bridge. Jump across the gaps in the bridge, and turn the crank.
- Now, you have to head back to where Farah is. To the left, you'll see another palm tree. Wall run toward it, and jump when you cross the vines to reach it. Slide down, then jump to the tree next to it. Slide down until you're about a quarter of the way up the trunk, and jump across to the grassy platform. Go through the small cave, and wall run across the gap to reach the far side of the bridge you and Farah started on.
- Head into the door, and you'll be attacked by more scarabs. Once they're taken care of, head down the hallway. At the end of the hallway is another, mist filled hallway. Take a drink if you need it, and fight off some more scarabs, then continue onward.
-
-
The Baths
- At the end of the hallway is a hole in the wall; through it, you'll find some of the humanoid sand creatures: the knife girls, and some new big guys with chains. The chain wielders will block most frontal attacks, as well as regular vaulting attacks. They won't block the vault-absorb combo, though.
- Once they're taken care of, take the stairs at the far end of the room from where you entered. You'll find a save point, and a pool so refill your health if you need it. Head up the stairs in the corner of the room, and follow the path to the next room. Here, go onto the platform overlooking the pool, and move the pedestal to the left of the doorway to let Farah through the crack. Put the pedestal on the pressure switch to hold the door open.
- Head through the doorway. A log trap will swing at you, so roll under it and hang down over the edge. Drop down to the next ledge, then down from there. Run up the far wall, and jump from the wall to a pole. Swing and jump across the gap. Run up either the left or right wall, and wall jump up to the top, then join Farah in fighting off more sand creatures, the girls and the chain wielders.
- Once they're down, refill your health in the water, then head to the center platform to save. In the middle of the pool, there's a pressure switch, so stand on it. Beyond the save point, you'll see two pressure switches in the wall. For the one on the left, push the statue into it to hold it down. For the third switch, wall run up to it to activate it.
-
There's Something Glowing Up There
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 12 Something Glowing Up There (Time: 8:55)
- Before the doors close, head through them; when facing the two wall switches, they're on the left hand wall; picking up the Sand Cloud as you go. Turn the crank, and you'll drain the water from the baths. Head back out, hitting the floor switch to reopen the door. Now, go to the right side of the room, toward the entrance.
- With the water gone, you'll now be able to run up the right wall to reach the ledge. Climb up the ledge, then jump across to the pole. From the pole, swing to the left, onto the column. Jump from that column to the next one, and from that column to the next pole. Shimmy across the pole toward the back of the room, then swing from it to the next set of poles.
- From the last set of poles, jump to the hanging switch. Now, drop down, and head to the left side of the room. You'll find a small ledge you can wall-run up to. From the ledge, jump to the pole parallel with the wall. Shimmy to the part that's perpendicular to the wall, and swing to the next pole. Shimmy to the parallel part of this one, and jump to the column. Jump to the next column, toward the back of the room, and from there to the next parallel pole. Shimmy to the perpendicular part of this pole, and swing to the next one. From here, swing once more to reach the second hanging switch.
- Now, head back to where Farah's standing, and push the block through the window you just opened. Now, back track to the first part of the baths through the room with the swinging log traps. You'll find the block in the pool in the upper room. Push it to the lower room through the small waterfall, then follow it down. From there, push it to the corner of the pool with the ladder hanging down. Get on top of it, and use the ladder to reach a Sand Cloud.
- Now, wall run up from here to the small opening, and drop through, grabbing the ledge below. Shimmy to the right, and climb onto the wooden outcropping. Go through the hole in the wall, and hug the wall, moving to the left. From the ledge, jump to the column in the middle of the room. From the column, jump to the adjacent wall, grabbing the ledge. Shimmy across the upper ledge all the way to the right. The ledge will crumble in front of you, so continue on the lower ledge until you can jump back up.
- When you reach the corner of the room, jump from the ledge to the pole poking out, and swing from it to the wooden platform. From there, wall run to the wooden platform in the opposite corner, and from there, wall run to the right to the next platform.
- Head through the small doorway, then run up the wall beside it and jump from it to the pole hanging over the platform. Swing from that pole to the next one, and so on until you reach the far side of the room, where you'll grab a ledge. Climb up the ledge, and move to the left onto the platform. Head down the hallway, and smash the barrels in the doorway.
- You'll find another trap hallway. Hit the pressure switch, then roll under the sword trap, or wall run past it and the next one. Through the doorway, you'll find more sand creatures: the females, and the chain wielders. Once they're absorbed, save, then head up the stairs to the left of the savepoint.
-
Above The Baths
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 13 An Ancient Palace (Time: 8:07)
- At the top of the stairs, head to the left, down the walkway. At the end of the walkway, on the left, you'll find an armoire; mofe it to the right, under the pole. Climb up the armor and use it to reach the pole. Swing from the pole to the columns in the middle of the room. Move counterclockwise, jumping from column to column, until you can jump to a pole on the far side of the room.
- Drop down from the pole, and collect the Sand Cloud. Head to the right, then wall run along across the gap, back toward the side of the room you started on, to reach the middle platform with the sword. Wall run back across, and use the sword to break the doors. Head through, and halfway down the hallway you'll see a crack in the wall.
- Break the crack, and head down the hallway it leads to to find another Health Power Up. Once you've gotten it, continue down the hallway, and break the doors at the end. Save the game again if you want, then go to the back left corner of the room to find another cracked wall. Break through, and head down the stairs. You'll hear the Prince mention that this palace was built on the ruins of "an even more ancient one."
- TIP: The "even more ancient" palace he mentions here is the original Prince of Persia, which is unlockable here.
- At the bottom of the stairs, head through the small doorway. Head to the right, across the walkway, and pull the block from the wall. Farah will go through the crack, so put the block in the middle of the walkway, against the wall. There's a marking to show you where.
- From on top of the block, run up the wall and jump across to the pole. Swing and jump to the next pole, and from there to the platform in the middle of the room. From there, jump across the gap to the platform against the wall. Head to the right, and hang down from the ledge. Shimmy around the platform, and you'll find it extends as a crack in the wall.
- Head as far down the crack as you can, then drop down two levels. Hug the wall at the bottom, and head forward until you're between two close walls, then wall jump up to the ledge on the other side. Walk across the ledge, and climb up when you reach the end. Keep moving to the right, and jump to the middle platform to find a Sand Cloud.
- On this platform, hang down from the ledge nearest the camera, and drop down to the ledge below. Shimmy around the ledge, and jump to the walkway up against the wall. Move to the right, and hug the wall where the walkway narrows, then jump up to climb the ledge and reach Farah.
- TIP: Here's where you can access the original Prince of Persia. Turn the crank in the middle of the room 180 degrees. The door will open when it's at about 90 degrees, then close when it reaches 180. Break the wall the switch is now pointing at, and you'll get a message that the game is unlocked. Head up the stairs to play it.
- Turn the switch back 90 degrees to reopen the door. You'll be attacked by scarabs, who shouldn't prove much trouble. Head down the hallway, and you'll find a block in the corner. Pull it away from the corner, and Farah will go through the crack. Wait for her to reach the other side, and she'll hit a switch pushing platforms out of the wall over the pit.
- Wall run on the right side of the wall, and jump over to the first platform, then repeat to reach the other side of the pit. At the other side, climb up the ladder. Once on top, continue forward, and you'll come out in a larger room, along with another group of sand creatures: Blue spear wielders and smaller grunts with swords. Remember, the blue spear wielders will block any attempt at vaulting, or regular counters. Counter-absorbing works fine, though.
- A savepoint will appear once they're all dead. At the end of the hallway is another cracked wall for you to break through. Go through it, and you'll find another hallway. There's a water fountain here, so refill your health if you need it, and continue on.
-
Daybreak
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 14 Daybreak (Time: 4:50)
- At the end of the hallway, there's a locked door. To the left of the door, you'll find a pressure switch to open it behind some barrels. Once you open the door, Farah will rush through. Follow her, and you'll find yourself in the mess hall and surrounded by sand creatures. The blue spear wielders are here, as well as a new type, a large, scimitar wielding creature. Warning: His attacks will sometimes cut right through your block. You can't vault over him either.
- You can use the off-the-wall attacks to finish the big guy off quickly, and it will help against the spear wielders as well. Otherwise, dodge their attacks, and attack when you see an opening. Again, beating them all will open up the save point.
-
A Soldier's Mess Hall
- Downstairs, you'll find a water fountain if you need it. Climb up on the debris in the corner of the lower room, and wall run to the right to reach a pole. Swing from it to the next pole, and from there to the ledge on the corner pillar. Shimmy around, and jump to the next pole along the wall with all the windows. Swing from there to the opposite corner, onto the ledges.
- Jump to the top ledge, and shimmy around to reach the Sand Cloud there. Head back to the ledge, and jump across to the highest pole, and swing to the platform on the left side. Head down the walkway, and wall run across the gap at the end. Step on the pressure switch, and head through the door here.
- Once you're through the door, head to the left. At the end of the walkway, jump across the gap to grab the flagpole, then jump to the next one. From here, jump and bound off the wall to reach the higher pole, then turn around and jump to the platform.
- When you reach the platform, spike pillars will emerge from the ground. Run up the wall, and wait for the three closest pillars to pass before you climb up. Avoid the other pillars, and head forward. The third set of pillars has spike tiles along the edge of the walkway, so watch out for those. For the fourth set, you're best off wall running past, timing it so you squeeze by the pillars.
- At the end of the walkway, run up the wall and jump off it to grab the switch. Head through the door, and then down the stairs. At the bottom, you'll find a hanging switch. Jump onto it, and a ladder will pop out for Farah. Once she's with you, head back up the stairs, and follow the path to the locked door. Farah will squeeze under it, and open the door for you.
- Head through, and collect the Sand Cloud on the floor. Then, run up the wall and jump off it to get the hanging switch, lowering the draw bridge. Head back outside, and go around the tower until you see the scaffolding beneath you. Jump down, and head to the drawbridge. You'll be attacked by a swarm of scimitar soldiers and blue spear wielders. They'll tend to swarm around Farah as well as the Prince, making this more difficult. Once they're down, heal up at the fountain, and save.

The Drawbridge
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 16 The Drawbridge (Time: 8:15)
- Head across the drawbridge, and into the tower. Inside, you'll find a crank. Turn it to open the door, then head through it. You'll find a large chamber you'll have to reach the top of. Start by going to the stairs along the edge of the room. Instead of climbing up, wall-run from the first landing to to the right, and grab the pole. Swing and jump to the left, up to the next pole, then to the right, and across the other poles to reach the platform with a hanging switch.
- Pull the switch, and you'll move the platform in the center of the room. Farah will then pull another switch and get onto the platform. Pull your switch again, and she'll continue on, pulling another level that raises the center platform. You, meanwhile, have to do things the hard way.
- Climb the debris next to the alcove with the lever. Jump up onto, and climb up the ledges, careful to avoid the buzzsaw. At the top ledge, jump away from the wall to reach the raised platform. From here, jump back toward the wall to reach the hole, and climb outside. Head to the right, and destroy the barrels and wood by the wall. Wall run across the gap to reach the pole, and jump to the next platform.
- Head in through the doorway, and you'll see a hanging switch. Wall run up to the emblem, and jump off to grab it to turn the middle platform. Get on it, and Farah will pull her switch, turning it so you can reach the next set of ledges. Jump to them, climb to the top one, then jump away from the wall to reach the ladder that's suspended from the above platform.
- You'll see the locked door. Head to the left along the walkway, and jump off it to reach the last switch, which reveals a ladder for Farah. Swing and jump back onto the platform, and head to the door. She'll head through a hole in the wall, and open the door for you. Head across the bridge, and you'll be attacked by more birds.
-
A Broken Bridge
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 17 A Broken Bridge (Time: 7:56)
- Once you're across the bridge, it'll collapse. There's a save point there. Farah will crawl under the gate, and tell you the switch is broken, so you'll have to find another way in. To the left of the save point is a Sand Cloud. To the right is a water fountain.
- Once your health and sand is full, hang down from the ledge in front of the locked door, and drop down. You'll grab a ledge, so shimmy to the right, and then jump away from the wall to reach a column. Slide down, then jump across to the next column. From there, jump back to the wall and grab the ledge. Make sure you're as high up as you can get on the column before you jump.
- Shimmy to the left, until you find yourself between two walls. Jump away from the ledge, then wall jump back and forth until you're at the bottom. As soon as you touch the floor, it will start crumbling, so run to the left. You'll reach a wall; run up it, and jump from the wall to a pole, and from there, swing onto the top of the wall.
- Farah will come out and tell you about an open balcony below. Climb down the other side of the wall, then climb onto the ledge on the wall across the walkway. Jump from the ledge on the outcropping pillar to reach a column and a Sand Cloud. Climb the second column all the way to the top, and jump across back toward the pillar to grab another ledge.
- Shimmy all the way to the left, then drop down to the next ledge. Shimmy to the left, under the fallen pillar, until you reach the platform. You'll find a balance beam here; carefully push the analog stick to cross it. You'll reach a ledge; hug the wall, and move to the right. There's a water fountain here if you need it. Head inside.
-
I'll Meet You At The Baths
- You'll find another enormous room. From the entrance, head to the right, or counterclockwise around the room. Wall run along the wall here, and jump from it to reach the flag pole. Jump from pole to pole, and you'll reach a save point.
- From the save point, drop down and head to the right. Go onto the balance beam, then jump forward onto the next one. Keep going forward, and continue on to the metal gate. Jump from it to the other gate, and continue moving clockwise around the room on the beams.
- When you reach the end of the beam (it will lower slightly), jump toward the middle of the room. Climb onto the wall here, and take out your sword. You can't block here, so just swing away and climb back up when you get knocked down. Once they're dead, jump across to the next wall, then move to the left. When you reach the end of the wall, jump back toward the edge of the room.
- You'll grab another beam. Climb on top of it, and move to the left to reach the switch. Jump on it to bring up a ladder, and open the door below. Climb down the ladder, then move down (counterclockwise) to find a Sand Cloud. Go around the room until you reach the door you just opened; go inside, and pull the switch to switch the open and closed doors, which will release some scarabs.
- Deal with the scarabs. In the corner clockwise of where you just pulled the switch, you'll find a wall switch. Pull it, and it'll pull up the gate in front of the locked door. Go and climb the ladder, then back track across the balance beams to where you first dropped down from the save point. Wall run across the now-in-place gate to reach a Sand Cloud. Be quick, as the gate's falling. Now, head into the small room here and pull the hanging switch you find.
- Head out of the doorway nearest the switch you just pulled, and wall run across to reach a pressure switch, which will open the door. Before you hit the switch, though, break the wall hidden behind the barrels and debris to find another Health Power Up. Once you've got it, hit the switch, then climb down the ladder and head through the door. It doesn't stay open for very long, so be quick.
- Head forward through the door, and into the cave. You'll find a breakable wall, so bash it and head on through. Cross the balance beam, then drop down on the ledge behind the barrels on the next platform. Drop down to the ledge, and walk along the wall until the ledge drops in front of you. Drop down to the next lowest level, and continue on. It, too, will drop off, so drop to the lowest level. When this level ends, jump across to the rock in the middle of the stream, and pick up the Sand Cloud there.
- Beat back the scarabs here, then walk across the stream to the other side. On the bank, head to the left (downstream), and climb up on the platform. Head across the balance beam, then drop down from the next platform to the ledge below. Drop down the next two levels until you're on a small cliff. Drop down so you're hanging off the edge, then shimmy until you're under the water fall, and jump across to the other outcropping.
- From here, walk across the balance beam, and you'll be attacked by some bats. They won't pose any threat, so just swing your sword until they back off. Wall run to the left (counterclockwise) to reach the next lower platform. Drop down from here to the ledge below, and you'll be swarmed by bats again. Again, just swing at them until they leave you alone. Head to the left, under the waterfall, and jump away from the wall to the next platform. From here, jump down to the lower platform with the balance beam.
-
Waterfall
- Head across the beam, then from the next platform wall run to the right (clockwise) to reach the save point. If you save, you'll wake up next to another balance beam and guess what! You have to cross it. On the other side, you'll enter a cave, blocked by a breakable wall, so bash it down.
- Through the cave, you'll find a wooden walkway. Wall run across to the next one. It will start to crumble as you set foot on it, so keep running, and wall run to the next wooden platform. This, too, will crumble, so run across it quickly and wall run to the stone platform on the other side.
- There's a small pool here for you to regain some health, so do so, then head deeper into the cave, breaking down the wall in your way. As you go through, you'll see another series of wooden platforms, each of which will crumble as you get onto it, so wall run to each, and run across them to reach the other side. You'll end up on a stone ledge and swarmed by bats. Knock them away, then walk along the wall to the right.
- At the end of the ledge, jump up to the next highest one. From there, jump over to the stalactite hanging from the ceiling. As you might have guessed, this part of the game stresses speed in the platforming, and these stalactites, like the wooden platforms, won't stay up for long, so jump across to the next one as quickly as you can.
- Tip: Instead of turning normally and then jumping, you can get the Prince to turn to the appropriate side and jump all at once by pushing the analog stick in the direction you want him to go, and hitting jump. It takes a little bit of practice, but will help a lot in this section.
- From the stalactite, jump across to the wooden platform. Run to the left and wall run to the next wooden platform, and from there wall run and jump off the wall to another series of stalactites. Jump across those to reach a stone ledge. Head all the way to the right along the ledge.

A Cavern Of Ladders
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 18 The Caves (Time: 6:13)
- Jump across to the next set of stalactites. Jump from one to the other as quickly as you can, and you'll reach the save point. Jump up onto the ledge to the right of the save point, and shimmy around the outcropping. At the end of the ledge, jump across to the stalactite, and quickly move from it to each of the next ones to reach the next platform, which has a Sand Cloud.
- Head across the rope bridge, and onto the wooden platform. You'll be attacked by some more bats, so get rid of them, then wall run to the next wooden platform. From here, wall run to the ladder. There's two ways you can get down from here. You can either go down the ladder, then wall run counterclockwise to the next platform, and head down the ladder there. From there, wall run clockwise to reach the next wooden platform, then again from there to reach the platform with the ladder heading down.
- Your other option is to head up the ladder, and wall run clockwise to the next one. You'll have to start the wall run here at the very edge, or you might fall short. From this platform, climb down the ladder to the next platform, then down the ladder there. From here, wall run counterclockwise to reach the last platform, and head down the ladder.
- Whichever path you take, head through the small cave at the bottom of the room. Break through the wall here, and continue through the cave. From the entrance, head to the left, toward the save point. Climb the debris, then run up the wall into the alcove here. From here, run toward the edge and jump to grab the rope. Use the analog stick to orient the prince, and R1 to swing and X to jump in the direction he's swinging. You can use the rope to reach the save point.
-
An Underground Reservoir
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 19 Underground Reservoir (Time: 9:21)
- From the save point, climb up either wall and jump up to reach the top ledges. Go to the right side of the save point, then walk around the wall until you're on the outcropping pillar. Drop down a level, then go onto the balance beam. Jump from there toward the middle of the room. Move across the balance beams in the center of the room clockwise, until you reach the broken pillar. Jump onto the lower edge and climb up. Go half way across the balance beam here, and jump onto the rope. Swing from it, and jump to the opposite side, and shimmy along the ledge to the left.
- On the other side of the pillar, toward the edge of the room, you'll find another balance beam. Jump from the center of it to the hanging rope, then from that rope to the next one, counterclockwise. From this rope, turn the Prince toward the edge of the room, and swing and jump across the gap. In here is a trapped hallway. Head to the left, wall running along the wall to clear the pit. You'll find a Sand Cloud on the other side of the pit.
- Now, on the wall opposite the Sand Cloud, you'll see a ledge above the clamp trap. Run up the wall, timing it to avoid the trap, and shimmy to the left. Climb up onto the platform, and head through the doorway. In this room, you'll see a hanging switch. Pull it, and it'll open a trap door, unleashing bats into the room. Deal with them.
- In the trap door is a pillar with sword traps throughout. Drop down the ledges, and time it carefully to avoid being sliced up. Head out the opening at the bottom, and push the box through the hole and follow it down to the floor below. You'll be swarmed by bats again, so get rid of them, then push the box to the left. Climb up it, then run up the wall to find a Sand Cloud.
- Climb up to the ledge to the right of the Sand Cloud, and walk along the wall to the right. Jump across when you get above the room where you just got the box, and continue moving clockwise around the room. Go onto the balance beam, and jump across to the rope. Use this rope to reach the next rope, counterclockwise. From there, swing to the next rope. Turn the Prince to the left, and swing over to the last rope, and climb up about half way.
- Before you leave, swing over to the archway in the wall. Inside, you'll find a hallway with a pincer trap along the wall. First, wall run over to the left and collect the Sand Cloud. Now, head back, and wall run up over the pincer, and jump onto the pole.
- From the pole parallel with the wall, shimmy over to one of the perpendicular poles, and swing forward, down the hall. Keep going across the poles, and you'll reach a breakable wall, so smash through it to find another Health Power Up.
- Once you've got it, drop down, and wall run back across the gap. Run and jump out of the archway to reach the rope, and climb to daylight. At the top, you'll be attacked by the short fat sand creatures, and a handful of the large, blue, scimitar wielders, so take them out.

Out Of The Well
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 20 Out of the Caves (Time: 8:29)
- Once they're down, you'll find a Sand Cloud in one corner of the balcony, and a save point will spawn near one of the trees. Head in through the archway in the corner, and refill your health at the pool inside. Continue down the hallway until you reach a round room. Run and jump from the edge of the floor to reach a hanging rope.
- Swing and jump from the rope to reach the white switch, then bound off the wall to get back on the rope. Turn the prince and do the same to reach the yellow switch, then swing from the rope to the door you just opened. Head down the stairs and to the right to find a Sand Cloud.
- Directly ahead of the stairs, you'll see a pressure switch and a gold switch in the wall. Pull the wall switch, then hit the pressure switch as you run by to bring out a platform, roll under the log trap, and jump across the pit. From here, either jump across the rest of the pit, or wall run, avoiding the buzz saw, and jump at the end to avoid the spike tiles.
- Run up the stairs, and roll to avoid the sword traps, and roll under the door before it closes. Head down the stairs, and you'll be attacked by chain wielding and female sand creatures, as well as blue spear wielders. Once they're down, refill your health in the center pool, and save.

The Sultan's Harem
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 21 The Sultan's Harem (Time: 8:1)
- From the save point, you'll find a hallway hidden behind the curtains on the left side of the room. Down the hallway, you'll find a breakable wall, so smash through it and the next one. Continue down the hallway, and you'll end up at a dead end with a hanging switch. To the left of the curtains, in a small alcove, is a Sand Cloud. Grab it, then run up the wall with the gold emblem and jump off it to grab the switch.
- This opens a door behind some curtains right next to the save point, so head back and go through it. You'll find a hallway with most of the floor missing, so wall run along the left wall, and jump over to the right. There's another Sand Cloud in the alcove here, so grab it, then head to the left. You'll see Farah through a window.
- To the right of the window is a breakable wall, so smash through it. Along the wall to the left, there's another one, so bash through it to make your big heroic entrance. She's under attack by female sand creatures, chain wielders, and blue spear wielders, so fight them off. Once they're down, the Prince will head into the save point.

What Did You Call Me?
- YouTube: Prince of Persia The Sands of Time 22 What Did You Call Me? (Time: 7:15)
- After a brief cutscene, you'll regain control of the Prince near the pool. Refill your health if you need it. Toward the back of the room, you'll see a statue. Move it to the side and Farah will move through the crack it was blocking. She'll open the door for you, so head through.
- You'll emerge in a grass lined hallway. Turn the crank all the way around to open the next door and catch up with Farah. Head down the hallway, and go past the mirror for now; you'll come back to it in a minute. Past the mirror is a library with several sand creatures: red and blue spear wielders.

The Hall Of Learning
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 23 The Halls of Learning (Time: 9:38)
- Once they're down, a save point will appear in one corner of the room, left from the entrance. On one side off the platform in the middle of the room is a fountain. Head back to the entrance, and turn the mirror so it's reflecting the light into the room. Head back into the room, and on the left hand wall right near the entrance is a wall you can break through, so smash it in.
- Inside is a mirror. Move it so it's on top of the dark, smudge-like mark on the floor. Now, follow the reflected light to the mirror at the far side of the room. You'll find it hitting a mirror, so pull the mirror backward, so it's on the dark smudge on the ground. Farah will move through the crack in the wall. The mirror will reflect the light to the right, and you'll see another mirror. Move that in the path of the light, again on the dark smudge.
- Follow the light back toward the entrance to find one more mirror. Move it onto the black smudge to complete the circuit, and send the light reflecting to the center pillar. It will raise into a tower structure. Climb up it using the wall run, until you can't climb any more. move toward the side of the tower to the left of the entrance, then jump across to the top of the wall, which'll act like a balance beam.
- Go to the part of the wall pointing toward the outer wall, then jump across to the platform. Wall run to the left, then hug the wall on the next platform moving to the ledge. Jump from there to the flag pole. Jump from it to the second one, then onto the balcony. Farah will pull a switch, opening up another light switch that you'll have to guide the beams to.
- A pressure switch is on a pillar to your left. Run up the wall to push it, and a portion of the wall will slide out opposite it. Wall jump to the top, then wall run to the right to reach another platform. From here, wall run to the right again and jump off the wall to reach a ladder. Climb up the ladder, and you'll see two clamp traps. Collect the Sand Cloud, then run up the wall and jump off to reach the balance beams over the clamps.
- Move across the balance beams, and you'll be swarmed by bats. Fight them off, then jump from the end of the beam to the next set, over the platform. Climb down from them and onto the platform. Wall run from here to the left, past the buzz saws, and break the wall to find another Health Power Up.
- Once you've got it, wall run back and take the balance beam toward the middle of the room. The middle of the beam will break off, so jump across the gap. Turn the beam clockwise 90 degrees, then head across the balance beam where it's pointing. Take the branch to the left, then jump past the pillar to reach the other side.
- You'll see two poles, one above the other. Jump onto the first one, then bound off the outer wall to reach the second. Shimmy to the right, then jump back toward the middle of the room to reach another balance beam. A part of it will break off when you do, so jump across the gap to reach the next set. You'll be attacked by more bats. Cross this set, moving toward the outer wall, and drop down onto the platform.
- You'll find two mirrors. Move them onto the two dark smudges on the floor to catch the light. When you get the second mirror right, a short cutscene will occur to show you it's lined up correctly. Wall run where the beam is headed, then drop down to the lowest ledge. At the bottom, go around the pillar, and jump to the next platform. From there, wall run across to the platform.
- Now, rotate the mirror there 90 degrees counterclockwise, and three platforms will push out from the wall. Climb over the railing, and jump over to the first one. Use running jumps to get to the next two, then jump across to the platform on the other side. Head all the way to the left, and drop down to a small alcove to grab a Sand Cloud.
- Head back up, and wall run up the pillar with a chunk cut out of it. Shimmy around to the other side, and jump off to reach a hanging rope. Alternatively, you can just run and jump to it from the third platform stretching out from the wall, that you used to reach Farah.
- From the rope, turn the Prince toward the next dangling rope, and swing over to it. From there, swing toward the wall and jump to reach a series of ledges. Climb to the top level, and move to the right. As you start to go around the pillar, a part will drop off, so drop to the lower level, go around, and jump back up. From here, jump away from the pillar to reach a ladder.
- Climb up, and you'll spot a breakable wall. Bash through it, and you'll find a small room with a mirror. Right across from the first wall you smashed is another breakable one, so break it down. Pull the switch on the other side, then break the wall there as well. Pull the mirror with you back out to the wooden walkway, then walk over the newly made walkway to reach the two mirrors you moved before.
- Switch the two mirrors here so the light's pointing at the mirror you just brought out. Adjust that mirror so the light's shining through the three broken walls, and into the focusing crystal there to open the gate. Wall run up the wall in the room with the crystal, then climb down the opposite side, navigating the pillars and platforms. Don't drop straight off the last one, though; drop off on the left, to the broken pillar, then down to the floor. Now, head through the gate and claim your new sword.
- Pull the switch behind the sword's altar to open a door on the opposite side of the library. Rush across before it closes, and head through it. Head down the stairway and the hallway. At the end of the hallway is a large chamber with a model of the planets at the top. Inside, you'll be attacked by blue and red spear wielders, so take care of them.
-
Observatory
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 24 The Observatory (Time: 6:13)
- Once they're dead, a save point will appear in the far corner of the room. Farah will head for a crack in the wall and go through. She'll soon announce she found a switch, so head back onto the middle platform, to the top of the stairs and she'll pull it. Once it's up, jump across to the outside of the room, and grab the Sand Cloud.
- Head to the right, and jump across to the flag poles. Jump up from the first to the second. At the second, turn and jump to the third, then from the third, jump up to the fourth, then to the next platform. Turn the crank so it's pointing toward the middle of the room, then jump onto the pole at the edge of the platform. Swing from it to the next pole, then keep going across until you reach a hanging column.
- Jump from the opposite side of the column, and continue across the poles until you reach another crank. Turn this one so it's facing toward the outer wall, then jump onto the pole at the edge of the platform, and swing across the other poles to the center column. Jump from the column to the pole you just moved into position, and keep swinging until you reach a hanging switch, which'll move all the planets around.
- Now, swing from the switch to the pressure switch on the wall. This'll release a platform below you. From the platform, wall run left (counterclockwise) to the next outcropping, but be quick because the platform the switch put out won't stay long. Wall run to the left again to reach the first crank you came to. You won't be able to turn it, but then you don't have to.
- Head back to the center pillar, then jump from it to the next set of poles to reach another hanging switch. Pulling it will open a door for Farah. Drop down, and head to the hole in the corner of the platform. Jump onto the column in the middle of it, and slide down.
- Keep moving down, jumping from column to column when you get blocked, until you reach the bottom. You'll see a switch, but as Farah already pulled it, just leave it alone and head down the small hallway to the right to join her. Head through the door, and Farah will notice another crack. Head down until you see the traps, and she'll elect to take the crack.
- She'll pull a switch to open the door. To the left, you'll see a fountain behind two spinning columns, so take a drink if you need it. This trap hallway has one of the log traps, and two wall-sword traps that you can roll under to avoid. Roll under the log, then jump across the spike pit to reach the gate.
- Through the gate is another set of traps. Walk across the first set of spike tiles, then wait until the swords pass you to hit the pressure switch, then roll back away from the wall before they pass again, and head through the door.
- Now, pull the wall switch to open the door, then run along the left side, rolling to avoid the sword traps until you reach the door. The second set of swords on the right span the whole hallway, so be careful to avoid them.
-
The Hall Of Learning Courtyards
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 25 Hall of Learning Courtyard (Time: 6:26)
- You'll emerge in a garden, and be attacked by the scimitar wielders. Farah will be safely behind a gate, so don't worry about her. There is only a handful, so take them out, refill your health in the pool, and save once they're down.
- To the right of the entrance is a ladder. Climb it, then jump away from it to reach a balance beam. Jump from it to the set of beams in the center of the room, and fight off the birds that attack you. Continue across the beam, and jump the gap in the middle. Go around the bend, and jump across to the rope.
- Climb about half way up the rope, swing, and jump at the apex of the forward swing to reach the balance beam. This might take a few tries. From the balance beam, move toward the wall, then jump across to the flag pole, and from it to the platform across the way. From here, wall run across to the balance beam, then turn and jump back, onto the flag pole, and swing up toward the birds.
- Fight them off, then wall run across to another balance beam. Jump from it to the hanging rope, and then turn and swing to the next rope. Swing from it to the platform against the wall. Wall run to the right to reach a lower platform, then drop down from there to the walkway. Inside the small room there is a crank. Turn it all the way around to open the gates for Farah.
- You'll notice a large spike pit between you and the now open door, and with nothing to run on. Climb over the railing, and shimmy past the pit. Head through the door. Head to the left, and you'll see a sword trap on the other side of the gap. Wall run toward the trap, then jump over it from the wall, rolling when you land to prevent damage. Roll past the next sword trap, and continue down the stairs, past another one.
- A group of scarabs is at the bottom, so take them out, then collect the Sand Cloud. Head through the door at the bottom, and go down the hallway. You'll meet up with Farah again. If you want, head through the door here and refill your health and save. Continue through the hallway, and head up the stairs.
- You'll fight more Scarabs on the way. Keep moving down the hallway once they're dead, and jump or wall run past the spike pits. You'll come out in a larger court yard. There's a gap in the walkway, so jump across it and take out the sand creatures that attack you. This time, it's skinny sickle wielders. A few scimitar wielders will show up too, so be careful.
- Once they're dead, a save point will appear. Drop down in the gap, and toward the entrance you'll find a Sand Cloud. There's also a pool of water in the corner of this walkway, and another Sand Cloud at the far end. Once you've got them, climb back up and save.
-
On The Ramparts
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 26 Ramparts (Time: 5:41)
- Keep going until you reach the locked door. Farah will squeeze under it. Climb over the railing on the left, and jump to the pole. Jump from it to the balance beam, then hug the wall and climb out on the other beam. Jump from it to the walkway, and you'll find the door still shut. Head toward the Sand Cloud, and the floor will give out beneath you, sending you to the prison.
- After a brief cutscene, you'll gain control of the now shirtless Prince. Head down the ladder, then wall run across the pressure switch to bring out a platform. From here, wall run to the next switch, and repeat the process counterclockwise around the room until the last switch brings up an elevator for you to ride down.
- Now, do the same thing, only heading clockwise around the room. At the bottom of this elevator, wall run to the right, and jump off once you hit the switch to reach the platform. Repeat this for the next few platforms, and the last one won't have a switch. Instead, jump from the wall to a pole, then from the pole to a ladder and slide down.
- At the bottom, wall run to the right, hit the switch, jump across to the pole, and from the pole to the platform and, again, repeat until you reach the ladder at the end, and slide down. At the bottom, you'll find some sand creatures, the sickle wielders, and the big hammer wielders from earlier. Take them out, and a save point will pop up.

A Prisoner Seeking An Escape
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 27 A Prisoner Seeking Escape (Time: 6:01)
- On the other side of the pit, in one of the cells, you'll find a Sand Cloud. Next to it is a water fountain. In the alcove next to the fountain is a pressure switch which opens the door on the other side. As soon as you step off, though, it'll close, so grab the box from the opposite corner of the room and bring it around.
- Through the door is a hallway with one of the large wall-sword traps, and a pressure switch on the left wall. Wait for the swords to pass, then run up the wall to hit the switch. Roll under the swords, and head through the door. To the left, you'll see a Sand Cloud, so pick it up.
- On either side of the far wall, there is a wall switch. Pull them in quick succession, then wall jump up between the two sections before they move too far apart. You'll have to be very quick to pull this off. At the top, run up the wall and jump from it to the balance beam.
- Some bats will attack when you get on top, so swat them away. Head to the end of the beam, and jump across the room to the one on the opposite side. From here, jump to the pressure switch on either side, then back, and repeat to hit the other switch. Get between the two sections, and wall jump to the top. At the top, wall run and jump to reach the pole, then jump from the pole to the wall, the wall to the pole, that pole to the wall, then the pole to the balance beam at the top.
- Get to the end of the beam, and jump to the pole in the middle of the room. Jump from the pole to the platform on the other side, and collect the Sand Cloud. Wall run up to hit the pressure switch, which'll push out a platform across from you. Jump from the switch to the wall, then repeat the process moving up the walls.
- At the last platform, jump from the wall up to the balance beam. Jump from the beam to the ladder in the middle, and climb up. At the top of the first ladder, jump across to the pole, then to the second ladder. Repeat at the top of the second, and you'll reach the top.
- There will be several sand creatures here, attacking Farah. They'll be hammer wielders and scimitar wielders. Beat them before they can overwhelm Farah. A savepoint will form on one of the landings once they're down. At the second landing is a water fountain, so refill your health if you need it. The very top of the stairs holds a Sand Cloud for you.
-
At Last We're Here!
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 28 We're Finally Here! (Time: 9:13)
- Save, and after a short cutscene, you'll regain control of the Prince. In front of the fountain is a pressure switch. Hit it, then run down the stairs and climb onto the platform that was raised. Wall run from the platform to the wooden platform in the corner. Wall run to hit the switch, which'll raise a platform on the other side of the room.
- Run over to the new platform quickly, since the switch resets. Wall run from the top to the wooden platform in the corner, and push the box there over the edge. Put the box under the orange switch between the stairs, then use it to wall run up and hit the switch to open the door. Head through, grab the Sand Cloud, and follow Farah to the Tower of Dawn.=
- As you cross the bridge, several birds will attack. Slice'em up, and continue into the tower. Just inside the tower, you'll find another Sand Cloud. Pick it up, then head to the left. Just before the elevator, you'll find a breakable wall leading to a Health Power Up.
- Once you've got it, proceed into the elevator room. Once you step on the elevator, it will start to go up. Soon, you'll be attacked by sand creatures, and they'll keep coming for quite some time. Fight them off, taking care to keep them from Farah. This is an opportune time to use the Fast-Forward power (R1+L1), but save it for when you're about to be overwhelmed. There are a pair of fountains on either side, but you probably won't have time to refill during the fight.
-
The Hourglass
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 29 The Hourglass (Time: 7:19)
- Once you reach the top, run up the back wall and jump off to reach a hanging switch. Follow Farah onto the smaller elevator to head up to reach the treasure chamber and the hourglass. Head forward, and save. Go around the edge of the chamber, then climb onto the ledge at the end of the walkway.
- Walk to the end of the ledge, then wall-run to the next platform. Keep wall running counterclockwise around the room until you reach the big stained glass window. Wall run across, then jump from the window onto the pole, and from there to the hourglass.
- After the cutscene, you'll regain control of the Prince inside the tomb. Head forward down the hallway. There are no enemies or traps here, so just keep heading down the stairs, until you reach a bath chamber. Head around the chamber until you hear dripping sounds coming from one of the doors, then head through it. Any other door will just send you back to the entrance.
- Each time you go in a door, you'll come out one of the other doors. Just keep following the dripping sounds. Eventually, you'll get to the second level, so keep following the drips. After a few more rounds, you'll find Farah and another cutscene will commence.
- After the cutscene, the Prince will wake up back in the tomb, without his sword or the dagger. Some sand creatures will appear, but without a weapon, all you can do is run past them. Head down the hallway, and you'll find a chamber with mirrors surrounding a pyre.
- First, hit L2 to bring up the fixed camera angle. Move the second mirror (the one on the upper half of the screen that's not in the light) so it's to the left of the first mirror, and reflecting the light to the bottom half, and hitting the mirror in the pillar on the bottom left.
- Now, go to the bottom half of the screen. You'll find two mirrors; take the one that's angled down, and put it in the beam of light coming from the bottom right pillar-mirror. Now, take the last mirror, and position it to catch the beam of light from the last mirror you moved, and hit the switch on the pyre. The fire will go out, so you can collect the sword.
- This sword will kill anything in one shot, even without the dagger of time. Head back to the room where you started, and kill the sand creatures to create a save point. Now, head back to the mirror room, and use the sword to smash the broken gate.
-
-
The Tomb
- Head to the right, and wall run over to the poles. Remember, you don't have the dagger, so if you fall, that's it. Swing to the poles on the right, then bound off the wall to climb up to the higher poles. From the third pole, swing to the left to reach the next highest one. From there, turn back toward the wall and swing to the higher pole, and from there onto the platform.
-
Farah, Come Back!
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 30 Farah Come Back! (Time: 6:27)
- Take out the sand creatures here, some sickle wielders and blue spear wielders, and save. Drop off the right side, and shimmy around the ledges to the left, switching levels until you reach the center. Drop down to the balance beam. Head forward, then jump onto the pole. Swing from the pole, and bound up into the room. Run up the wall and hit the hanging switch to open a trap door to head back up. Before you do, break through the broken door to find another Health Power Up.
- Once you've got it, swing from the hanging switch to the pole, then from up there bound off the trap door to get back to the save point. Now, run up the back wall and grab onto the ledge. Shimmy to the left, under the outcropping, then jump up to the next level. Climb the wall in this fashion, and at the top you'll find a water fountain if you need it.
- Climb the column on the right, then jump from it to the hanging column. Turn to the left (counterclockwise 90 degrees), and jump from the column to the set of balance beams. Jump from the beams to the pole hanging over the gap, then shimmy all the way to the left on the pole. Swing and jump to catch the balance beam on the other side.
- Once on the beam, some bats will attack. Either swat them away, or drop down to the platform below to get rid of them. Go into the doorway, and wall run, then start wall jumping until you reach the ledge. Climb up, then wall run up and wall jump until you reach the top.
- Head forward across what's left of the bridge, and fight off the sand creatures: Spear wielders and sickle wielders. Refill your health at the fountain if you need it, then save.
-
Climbing The Tower Of Dawn
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 31 Climbing the Tower of Dawn (Time: 9:04)
- Wall run up the right wall and jump from it to reach a pole. Turn and jump back toward the wall and bound off it to reach a balance beam. Jump to the left to reach another one. Head toward the wall and onto the ledge. Move to the left, then jump from the ledge to the hanging column.
- Jump to the column on the right, then jump to the wall, bounding up through the hole here. Head to the left, and hug the wall to move around it. Fight off the bats, and keep going until you reach the walkway on the other side. Wall jump between the two walls until you reach the ledge. Hug the wall and move to the right. Beat away the bats again, and go out on the balance beam.
- Jump across to the next beam, then hug the ledge against the wall and move to the right. Cross the darker balance beam here, then drop down to the pole beneath it. Shimmy all the way to the right, then swing and jump from the pole to the wall, and bound off it to reach the beam above you.
- Continue to the right, hugging the wall. Go out on the balance beam here, and jump to the next one over. Go back to hugging the wall, and continue to the right until you're between two walls. Wall jump up to the top. Once on the ledge, shimmy to the right, then climb up and jump to the highest ledge. Head between the two walls again, and climb to the higher ledge.
- Jump across to the other side, and move to the left. Jump up a level when the ledge goes out in front of you, head to the left, then down to the bottom level when it gives out again. Continue to the left, and climb back up to the top level when you can. Once you're all the way to the left, jump from the ledge to the flagpole.
- Swing and jump across all four poles, and you'll reach a the top of a hollowed out wall, which acts as a balance beam. Walk around until you reach the end, then drop down on the outside and hang in the crack. Jump across, and wall jump your way down to the bottom. Head into the doorway here, and hit the pressure switch to open the door across the walkway.
- Unfortunately, said walkway will crumble, so wall run across the gap and head through the door before it closes. Head up the ladder, and jump across to the other ladder to keep heading up. Swat away the bats before they knock you off, and keep alternating ladders to reach the top.
- At the top is another group of sand creatures, so kill them, and head to the right to find a water fountain. Climb over the rubble on the left to find the save point.
-
The Setting Sun
- Once you've saved, climb back onto the rubble and climb the column. Jump from the top of the column to the pole. Swing across the poles to the third one, then shimmy onto the parallel part of the bar, and move all the way to the right.
- Swing toward the wall, and you'll grab the ledge. Jump up and grab the higher ledge, then jump away from the wall onto the balance beam. Head to the left on the balance beam, and take the right turn onto the platform. Wall run to the left, across to the next platform, and again to the next one. From here, head across the balance beam to the hollowed out pillar. Walk along the top of the pillar's walls until you're on the right side, then jump to the left, and wall jump up.
- At the top, head toward the tower. To the right, in the gazebo atop the other column, you'll find a fountain. To the left, wall run across to the next platform. Head across the walkway, and fight off the bats. In the gazebo, head right and go across the balance beam. Fight off more bats, then head back toward the tower across the walkway.
- Wall run to the left again, to reach the next platform. From here, wall run, and jump from the wall to reach a hanging column. Climb to the top, then jump away from the tower on top of another rooftop. Climb up the column here, and from the top, jump back toward the tower to reach a pole. Swing from it and jump toward the tower, onto the walkway.
- Head to the right, and wall run across the gap, jumping from the wall to reach a ladder. At the top of the ladder, jump across to the pillar, and from the pillar jump through the hole in the wall, inside the tower. There will be a cutscene, during which the Prince will retrieve the dagger. You'll regain control and be attacked by sand creatures, so take them out. You'll be prompted to save afterward, and there'll be another cutscene.

Honor And Glory
- YouTube: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 32 Honor and Glory (Time: 6:57)
- You'll regain control of the Prince, after he finishes telling the story to Farah. The Vizier will attack you. He'll create duplicates of himself to fight you. They'll block most frontal attacks, and will stop you from vaulting over them some of the times. Block their attacks, and look for openings. You can use the wall to vault over them, or roll around and attack the back when they attack you.
- You'll fight three duplicates, then the real Vizier will be open. Attack him once to knock him out the window, then after the brief cutscene, wail on him until he goes down for good. Enjoy the ending.
