King's Gate: Light Seeds
- YouTube: Prince of Persia Walkthrough - King's Gate - Location of all 45 Light Seeds (Time: 10:43)
- LIGHT SEEDS: 45
- Now, you can turn yourself to the game's major diversion: collecting all of the Light Seeds. You'll already have one when play resumes. Turn to the gate in one corner of the room and you'll see glowing blue point of light. Grab it, then jump up the wall to the ring on your right to get the second seed. This will also open the gate.
- Beyond the gate, you'll see a veritable playground full of Light Seeds to reach. Sadly, the one high up, directly in front of you is unreachable in your current state. Jump from the plank to the column across the way and shimmy down, grabbing two more Light Seeds.
- Climb back up the column to where you can jump to some vines on the opposite wall. Climb down on one side to grab the higher Light seed, then move over to where the lower seed is located and Gripfall down to grab it. Follow the path to the right.
- Jump your way to the last pole along the path. To reach the vines in front of you, press Y to use Elika's magic while in the air.
- When you reach the wall above, grab the seed on the wall in front of you, then jump to the poll ahead.
- This part is tricky. First, use Elika's magic boost to reach the next platform, the sand will cause Prince to slide down. When you run out of ground, jump to the wall on the left, run along it, then jump to the wall on the right. Jump one more time to reach the pole ahead.
- Leap to the ground in front of you and fight the enemy that's waiting. Pressing B for the gauntlet, followed by X for sword and Y for magic, can often yield devastating results.
- You can converse with Elika after the enemy is defeated, but don't continue in the same direction when you're finished. Instead, turn around and jump to the raised platform on the right.
- The next platform will cause you to slide again. Ride it to the end and jump to the wall, using Elika's magic if necessary to reach the next safe platform.
- This part is also tricky. Perform a magic jump to reach the next sliding platform, then jump to the platform after that, then use one more magic jump to get back to safe ground.
- After you climb over the railing, take the path along the wall for more Light Seeds. Gripfall down when you reach the vines.
- Turn left and jump back to the column across the way, then jump to the next platform. Turn right, and perform a magic jump to reach the next column and Light Seed. You can climb up this column and jump back the way you came to another platform above it.
- Climb up the column around the corner, and roofrun back the way you came for one seed. Do the same in the other direction for the other seed, pressing B when you reach it to grab the ring and extend your run.
- You're now following the path back to the Fertile Ground. Keep going and collecting Light Seeds on the way, eventually reaching the gate you originally opened to start collecting seeds.
- This time, jump to the column ahead, then position yourself to you can jump to the left. Climb as high as you can and do a magic jump to reach the top platform.
- Go to the other end of the platform and wallrun to get the next seed, then press R to Gripfall down to the vines below. Move to the right, and from here you can wall run back to a hanging column for another seed. Continue to the vines ahead and Gripfall down.
- Turn left. Leap between the planks and poles grabbing any seeds you encounter. When you get to the end of the path, jump up the ledge on the right side.
- Through the opening to the next room, you'll see a wall on your left with a ring in the middle. Use that to get the platform ahead. Keep running forward and jump to the wall in front of you, causing Prince to Gripfall down the wall to a fissure below.
- Follow the fissure around the wall to the right, then down, where there's another seed waiting.
- Keep following the pathway down for more seeds. This is the way you approached the first Fertile Ground.
- When you reach a wall with a ring on the left, run on the wall to reach the fissure. Follow it and Gripfall down for another seed.
- Turn back around, and you'll see a seed on a rock wall to the left. You can grab it, somewhat sloppily, by running on the wall and using Elika to save you.
- Climb up the wall with the two rings for the last seed in this room.
- If the Ruined Citadel is the first area that you've chosen you won't be able collect any more than this. Set the destination on your map to The Cauldron area of The Vale.
- To collect the final seeds in this area, return with Step of Ormazd.
- Using your new power, you can now collect all of the Light Seeds in this area. Start by jumping from the courtyard's exit to the column in front of you. Rotate around so you will be jumping to the left, and perform a magic jump to get to the platform.
- On the other side of the platform, wallrun to the red Power Plate and press Y to activate it. You will blast to another plate with a Light Seed on it. Quickly press Y again and you'll blast to another wall. Press B to run between the rings, collecting seeds as you go, then press Y when you reach the last plate to blast to a nearby platform.
The Sun Temple
- YouTube: Prince of Persia Walkthrough - Ruined Citadel: Sun Temple (Time: 9:10)
- To reach this area, you'll need have unlocked Step of Ormazd from the temple. Set your destination using the map and press Y to have Elika show you the way.
- Starting from the teleport point at King's Gate, follow the path that Elika provides, or use the procedure involving the red Power Plates described at the end of the King's Gate section above.
- Quickly defeat the enemy along the way with a simple B X Y combo.
- Keep moving, climbing to the fissure, then along the walls and past a slide to the next room.
- You're now in the Sun Temple proper. Use your newfound power to jump to the red Power Plate ahead, then press Y to blast between them.
- The Hunter will impede your progress. Get close to him, then use the combo of B for gauntlet, Y for magic, X for attack and Y for magic again will do considerable damage. After this, the Hunter will lock swords. Tap X repeatedly to break free.
- If The Hunter sprays your screen with black liquid, hold off on attacking and block him until it fades. Repeat this process until the Hunter, now wounded, escapes to the fertile ground above.
- Use the nearby red Power Plate to blast ahead. You'll reach another platform, where the Hunter will try to impede your progress by summoning corruption along the walls.
- Obviously, don't touch the liquid. Climb up the fissure, and when the corruption slides down and out of your way, wall run to the next fissure.
- Move along the wall, between the fissures, while dodging the corruption. The only tricky part is at the end, when you'll have to run between two chunks of liquid when they separate, then press Y to blast from the red Power Plate when you reach it.
- Fly from the plates to the next platform. Climb the fissure, then crawl up the wall from where the fissure ends. Just before you slide back down, jump to the column behind you.
- Repeat this process to reach the next length of column,, then jump the horizontal fissure on the wall. Run along the fissures and the wall while dodging the liquid.
- This next part requires a bit of timing and luck. Slide to the bottom of the vertical fissure and look down. You'll need to Gripfall down the wall while avoiding all the corruption along the way. Start your descent when the first chunk of liquid is about lined up with you and moving to the right. Pres left or right on the left thumbstick to dodge the liquid as you slide down.
- There's one last bit of corruption to dodge as you wallrun to the red Power Plate. When you reach it, press Y to start moving along. After you reach the second plate, you'll have to wallrun and jump to reach the column. Jump from here to the two poles, using magic jump when necessary. This will take you to the where the Hunter is waiting.
- The same combo of B, Y, X, Y works here. Again, be ready to tap X repeatedly after this combination and block when your screen gets filled with black liquid.
- Once you've knocked the Hunter off the platform, approach the light and tap Y to restore the fertile ground.
The Sun Temple: Light Seeds
- LIGHT SEEDS: 45
- Grab the three light seeds on the platform. Grab the fourth seed near the red Power Plate and launch from it.
- Follow the plates to the platform below, then make a quick run through the arched gate. This is the path back to King's Gate, and there are several light seeds here.
- Take the slide on the left and grab the seeds along the way. When you reach the next platform, turn left, and do a magic jump to the far wall where another seed is waiting, then jump off the wall back to the platform.
- Follow the wooden plank to the two walls that lead to King's gate, grabbing on Light seed on the way there. When you reach the site where you once fought an enemy, turn around and go back the way you came. You can grab the other light seed by wall running from the fissure.
- When you return to the rectangular platform, drop down on the side near the two slides, and grab the two seeds hanging on a plank below. Now, take the left slide to get the final seed in this room.
- Turn left when you go through the arched gateway. Follow this path and grab the seeds near the poles. When you reach the plank, walljump on the surrounding walls to reach the seeds near the ceiling.
- Keep going. There's another pair of walls for jumping between ahead, yielding two more Light Seeds.
- Continue ahead. When you reach the last pole, swing and wallrun to the fissures. You can jump up from them to get the two seeds above. This is as far as you can go before reaching corrupted ground, so turn around and go back.
- When you reached the platform with the arched gateway leading to King's Gate, jump from the plank that leads to the red Power Plate. Blast from these to a faraway platform with more Light Seeds.
- There's a fissure along the right wall. Starting here, magic jump to the opposite wall to obtain one seeds, then keep magic jumping between the two. You'll eventually reach a plank that holds a somewhat hidden seed.
- Gripfall back down the wall. Take the path on the right and wallrun below the fissure for another Light Seed. Keep going in this direction to trace a path back to the Fertile Ground.
- After blasting from some Power Plates, you'll recognize this area as the place to wall jump between fissures and an intermittent column. Take this path up to where you originally slid down through the black liquid.
- Here, you'll need to wallrun to the left to grab the first Light Seed, then Gripfall down and to the right to get the other. You can also hang off the ledge on the right to get an additional seed.
- Blast from the Power Plates to the area where you have to wallrun and jump to the nearest column. Get the Light Seed there, then continue to the site where you last fought The Hunter. Use the Power Plates to get back to the arched gateway.
- Now, take the path on the right and leap to the first column, then the second one. To get the seed on the wall, jump from the column, then leap back.
- Follow this path while collecting seeds. When you reach the column where there are a pair of seeds on another plank to your left, crawl to the bottom of the column before jumping to the plank. Then, run up the wall to get the seeds.
- Return to the column and use it to roofrun to the rings ahead. Grab the last Light Seeds along the way and continue to the platform where an enemy is waiting. By now you should have 40 seeds from The Sun Temple. You won't be able to get the rest until you obtain Breath of Ormazd.
- Once you have this power, start at the teleport point and use the red Power Plate to get to the platform below. Turn so the wall is on your left, and move along the path. You'll find a green Power Plate on the left after a few quick jumps.
- Use the plate to climb upward. Dodge the obstacles and grab the two seeds along the way. The last three of this area's 45 seeds await at the top of the wall.
The Windmills
- YouTube: Prince of Persia Walkthrough - Ruined Citadel: Windmills (Time: 10:31)
- If you're playing the game as we are, you should be approaching The Windmills via the path to Martyr's Tower. Jump to the column and roofrun between the columns and rings. Jump from the pole to the platform, then wallrun to the locked of entrance to the tower.
- Continue along the path with the narrow planks, magic jumping between the gaps.
- When you reach the platform with two possible ways to go, head to the left, where you'll need to wallrun. Warning: Some corruption blocks the path on the two walls ahead, so time your runs carefully.
- At the first pole, wait before jumping to the next wall. See the corruption ahead? Wait until it's about lined up with you vertically, and moving downward. Then, start your run, pressing B to use the rings on the walls. Jump after the second ring to reach the next pole. Time this last wallrun carefully to avoid the corruption.
- An enemy approaches. Block its initial attacks, then use B, Y, X, Y to defeat it easily.
- Use the plank on the opposite ledge to get you close to a running wall. Grab the ring on the corner, then jump to the pole. Repeat this process again to reach another platform.
- Climb the wall using the rings, then wall run and press B to reach the next platform. Continue on, using the rings to extend your run as you encounter them. You'll reach a brief dialog point where Elika directs you to the windmill. Make sure your destination is set on the map, and press Y' to see the correct path.
- Find the red Power Plate down a small bridge to your left and use it. From here, you'll have several jumps from the plates interspersed with rings to extend your run. Hint: The proper sequence, if you're getting stuck, is Y, Y, B, B, Y, B, Y.
- Now, you're entering the inner workings of the windmill. There's a puzzle here that requires you use two gears to line up a pair of millstones with the Power Plates you need to get ahead. Press B to grab on to the gear. The right gear moves the millstones. The left gear changes the speed and direction of the two millstones, with red making them move a half turn and blue making them move a quarter turn.
- Of course, we'll tell you how to do it. Move the left gear counterclockwise, then the right gear counterclockwise, then the left gear counterclockwise again, then move the right gear in either direction two times.
- Climb to the red Power Plate on the left millstone. Blast to the next plate, then to a ring on the wall, then one more plate to take you to another platform.
- Jump to the two poles, and the camera will switch to a side view of Prince and Elika. You may have to press right on the left thumbstick to get momentum. Jump to the wall, climb up a step, then jump to the opposite wall. Climb up again and jump to the opposite platform.
- The path continues along a wall. Run between the two moving pieces of corruption and press B to use the ring. As soon as you touch the the mill, press A to leap to the plank to your right.
- Wait until the mill stops turning, then climb up it and jump to the plank across from you. Use the small extending piece of plank to jump to the next platform.
- This puzzle has three millstones instead of two. Here's the solution: Move the left gear counterclockwise once, then the right gear clockwise twice, then the left gear clockwise twice then the right gear clockwise twice.
- You can now use the Power Plates, starting with the left gear. This will take you outside. Follow this straightforward path while avoiding the corruption on the walls. When you reach the wall with two rings spaced vertically, wait until the corruption is just out of your way before starting to ascend. Leap into the room ahead for another encounter with The Hunter.
- The battle begins like the last. Use the combination of B, Y, X, Y, X to attack The Hunter.
- Occasionally, the Hunter will change states, making it stronger. A successful X attack will bring it back to normal, or you can wait it out by blocking.. When the enemy turns from purple back to orange, you can resume your original combos.
- Again, only block when your screen gets filled with black, and be prepared to tap X after each combo. Repeat this process until The Hunter retreats once more.
- Hop over the wall with the ring on it, to where you can tap Y and clean the land.
The Windmills: Light Seeds
- LIGHT SEEDS: 45
- Follow the plank and magic jump across to the poles, getting the seeds along the way. Press RT to fall down, then turn around and go down the bridge to the Power Plate. This will take you back into the windmill.
- Take the path through the windmill. The seeds inside are easy to reach, just don't miss the one along the right wall as soon as you enter the windmill building.
- Once outside, go left and run over the gap. When you reach the corner, climb down the opening in the outside wall to collect some seeds. Jump down the second wall for one more seed along a platform below. Sadly, you can't get the seeds across the way in your current state.
- Head back up to where you first dropped down. At the next corridor, jump between the walls to reach an upper passage with more Light Seeds. Grab them, then return back down. You can drop at the next ledge for one more seed, then go back up to the ramp that leads to the top of the tower.
- Instead of climbing the wall with the rings on it, continue around the building to the railing. Jump to the pole, then to the slide. Grab the ring on the corner and jump to the platform where you'll find three more seeds.
- Keep moving around the building and you'll end up where you started. Now, go up the ramp to the top of the tower and climb the two rings. Instead of jumping into the building, drop down to collect the Light Seed below. Then, climb back up and go inside the room where you fought The Hunter.
- There's a seed on the opposite side of the pole in the middle of the room. You can reach it by climbing up the ring to the top ledge on the opposite wall, then turning and magic jumping toward the seed.
- Now, go up the wall with the ring on it, and jump to the wooden plank. Leap to the polls and drop down.
- Take the slide on the left, grabbing the seed along the way. Jump from the plank at the platform ahead to the column, then wallrun to reach the next column. Turn back and roofrun to get the other two nearby seeds.
- Go back to the column and keep moving forward. Get the last two seeds, and turn back before you reach the enemy ahead. You won't be able to continue that way without the Wings of Ormazd.
- You can take the right path to get back. When you reach the second poll, drop down instead of continuing forward, then magic jump to the platform ahead. There's a ringed wall to climb with one more seed.
- Once back to the platform above, continue forward, grabbing any other seeds in the area. Climb back up to the platform with the sealed door in front of it.
- Now, take the slide on the right side. Turn around when you reach solid ground and climb the wall. Turn again when you get to the top and jump to the plank, grabbing two more seeds above it.
- Jump back onto the platform and wallrun to grab more seeds ahead. When you get to the pole, drop down and take the slide again.
- Keep moving along the wall. You'll get one more seed in the process. Get ready to fight an enemy when you land.
- This one is changing states, too. Press RT at the instant it swings its swords to defect, then counter with X, Y, X, Y and X. Two of these attacks should finish the monster off.
- By now, you should have 41 Light Seeds from this area. You probably don't have enough to go back to the temple for another power, so set your destination to The Vale: Machinery Ground and press Y to see the path from Elika.
- Return for the last seeds in this area once you have the Hand of Ormazd. Turn left from the teleport point and magic jump to platform across from you. Hang over the opposite edge of that platform and drop down by pressing RT.
- You can then drop down from the outside corner of this structure, where the wall is broken away. Move to the left and you'll see a blue Power Plate ahead of you. This will launch you across the way to a high pole. Get the seed here, then swing to the platform below.
- Turn around and and jump to the pole. Swing to the second pole, then drop down twice. Magic jump from here to the platform, and you'll be able to wallrun to another blue Power Plate.
- When you land, run on the left wall, then hop to the right to continue your run, then hop back. Press B to grab the ring at the corner, then Y when you reach the next plate. This launches you to another plate and nearby seed. Press Y again to keep moving along.
Marshalling Ground
- From the Sun Temple teleport point, use the nearby red Power Plate, then take the path to the left.
- You've done this before. Follow the path up to where an enemy is spawning. If you're fast enough, you can avoid confrontation by striking the corruption with your sword.
- Jump on the fissure to your right and start moving along the wall, avoiding corruption as you go.
- You'll reach a Gripfall that requires you to dodge two chunks of corruption. Wait until the slower moving one at the bottom is out of the way, then start falling as soon as the faster moving chunk nearest you is out of range.
- Take the fissures down, and wallrun between the two pieces of corruption. Jump to the platform and then continue on the walls to a set of vines.
- Hint: When you're not sure how to position yourself, look for streaks on the walls. A white streak to your right signals how you should go from here. Wallrun, and then jump to the next wall before you reach the waterfall.
- From the vines, follow another streak on the wall to a platform, where Prince will make a remark about being watched. You can see a yellow Power Plate on a wall that protrudes from the platform. Get on this and press Y to fly.
- Dodge left, then right through the first set of columns, then right again at the third column.
- From the next platform, use the next Power Plate ahead. You'll have to dodge down, then up, then down again when you reach a set of horizontal obstacles. Dodge right from the next obstacle and you'll be clear to reach the next plate.
- Get on the next plate. The order for dodging here is down, right, down, right. When you reach the next platform, you'll get another encounter with The Hunter.
- The strategy here is basically the same as other battles. Deflect The Hunter's attacks by pressing RT, then follow with B, Y, X, Y, X.
- Achievement: If you haven't received "Hunter Special" yet, now's a good time. Just use RT to deflect The Hunter's attacks five times in battle. Press the button as soon as you see him lunge toward you.
- Once The Hunter is defeated, head up the nearby wall to the Fertile Ground and tap Y repeatedly to restore it. You'll get a brief cutscene explaining The Hunter's story, then it's time to collect more Light Seeds.
Marshalling Ground: Light Seeds
- LIGHT SEEDS: 45
- Start with the three seeds nearest you, then use the yellow Power Plate.
- You'll reach the platform that initially sent you on the way to the Hunter. Use the yellow plate on the wall to return again in this direction. Make sure to grab the seed in the air as you fly.
- At the next platform, hang from the ledge and grab the three seeds that are hanging below the platform. Also, magic jump to the three seeds along the distant wall, then magic jump back to the platform.
- Once you've collected all the seeds around this platform, use the yellow Power Plate on the wall. There's one more seed to grab as you fly along.
- Get the two seeds at the next platform, then continue to the next Power Plate. When you see the Light Seed along the way, dodge right to grab it. This path will take you back to the Fertile Ground.
- Climb the wall here and use the Power Plate to fly back to the platform by the arched doorway. Move forward so the wall is on your left.
- Follow this path and collect more seeds as you go. When you reach the first hanging column, be sure to jump for the two seeds against the far wall.
- When you reach the next platform, go to the hanging wooden plank and turn left. Magic jump to the piece of wood along that wall, and jump up to grab another piece. Climb to your right and wallrun for two more seeds, then jump at the end of your run to return to the platform. This is the end of this area, so go back the way you came.
- Follow the path back until you pass the large arched doorway again, now on your right. Wallrun to the vines and grab the two hanging seeds.
- The platform to your left can be reached by wallrunning past the waterfall, then jumping right before you reach the vines. You need to start your wallrun at the furthest point to the left on the vines, which is about halfway up its vertical length.
- Cross the waterfall again and grab the remaining seeds here. There is also one against the wall of the hanging platform. You can get a good view of it when you reach the next platform.
- Continue along the wall to the fissures. Don't worry about the seeds above for now. Just keep moving to the left, then up to the platform above. Now, turn and take the fissures back along the wall to your right. When you turn the first corner, look up. There's a fissure, with two seeds slightly above it. Grab them before going back down and continuing to the right.
- When you're forced to descend back down, grab another seed on your way. Now, go left and return to the platform.
- You should have 40 seeds by now -- the most you can get with your current powers. Set a course on your map for Martyr's Tower and use the fissures on the wall ahead of you to start your trip there.
- Once you return with the Hand of Ormazd power, take the yellow Power Plate to get to a lower platform. A blue Power Plate is on the wall. Jump up and press Y, and you'll swing to the nearby narrow platform. Here are the last five seeds in this area.
Martyr's Tower
- If you're following along with us, travel via The Sun Temple to reach Martyr's Tower. This is a fairly simple path that you've already traversed in your quest for Light Seeds. If you've already defeated the enemy on the far platform, you can quickly prevent it from respawning by slashing the corruption with your sword. Otherwise, use the combo of B, Y, X, Y to destroy it.
- Jump from the platform to the first column. Turn right and roofrun, using the ring on the ceiling, to the next column. Turn left and do the same to reach the next column.
- Keep moving along the path, jumping from the walls until you can climb up to solid ground. Move forward and you'll hear a brief conversation about the Martyr's tower. Proceed via the yellow Power Plate.
- There are a few Power Plates to jump from here with some minor dodges toward the end -- nothing you can't handle. The Hunter will be waiting at the end of your trip.
- Instead of a fight, The Hunter will trap you in a small corridor. Jump on the fissure and progress down. Gripfall from the end of the fissure onto the platform far below.
- This area is filled with corruption. The ground below is off limits, and some of the corruption is impeding your progress on the walls.Start by wallrunning where a few chunks of corruption are sliding along. Jump at the very end of your run to grab the pole.
- Wait until the next corruption is out of the way, then jump to the wall and run to the fissure. Keep running when the corruption is out of the way, then jump at the end to reach another pole.
- One more timed jump and you'll reach another fissure. Keep moving along the wall, making one last move past some sliding corruption to reach a pathway up.
- Climb up and jump to the wooden beams. Follow them around one of the room's support columns, and jump across the gap to where one of the beams terminates. From here, you can magic jump to the wall and climb to a fissure.
- Climb the fissure, then wallrun to the right. Jump at the end of your run to grab the pole. Jump from the pole to the wall, then use the fissure to reach another layer of wooden beams.
- Jump across these beams and you'll reach a wooden plank that hangs from a wall. You can't climb here because there's nothing underneath you -- the trick is to shimmy to the wall on your right. Pull yourself up from here and you'll reach The Hunter at last.
- This fight with The Hunter is a lot like your last few. Deflect his attacks by pressing RT just as he's about to strike. Then move close and follow with B, Y, X, Y and X. Occasionally you'll have to tap either X or Y if he grabs hold of you.
- Hint: We'll say it again: Resist the temptation to mash buttons. This will get Prince hurt and make it harder for you to execute the proper button presses at the right times. The game gives you plenty of time to react in a fight, so always think things through.
- If The Hunter changes states and turns blue, the best strategy is to deflect an attack and quickly counter with your sword. Then, you can move in for a combo.
- Once you've defeated The Hunter, look around the corners of the room. You'll see a crack in the wall near one of them. Climb up to the second crack, then wallrun to your right, to the adjoining wall, to reach a pole.
- Jump from the poles to a wooden plank. Jump to the fissure ahead, then wallrun to the fissure that runs vertically. When you get to the top, run to the platform on your right, as the one on the left is covered in corruption.
- You'll pass the yellow Power Plate you need to reach, but there's no good angle on it from here. Continue across the wooden planks. Go to the wall and jump on the fissure.
- Watch for corruption as you move to the sliding ring, then along to the next fissures. Moving the ring will cause the wooden planks to rotate, so when you reach a wooden beam along the next wall, you can jump along a path that leads right to the Power Plate.
- Activating this plate will take you to a set of poles near the ceiling. Before you jump, make sure you are on Elika's left side. This will make the task ahead easier.
- You need to jump to the diagonal wall ahead, then jump off the wall to the next pole. It looks easy, but can get frustrating if you don't time it right. Jump from about the center of the diagonal wall and you should make it.
- Go from the poles to a crack in the wall, then climb up. The Fertile Ground is just ahead. Tap Y repeatedly to heal it.
Martyr's Tower: Light Seeds
- LIGHT SEEDS: 45
- There are three Light Seeds on the platform here. After you get them, slide down the trap two and grab two more seeds on the way down.
- Inside the tower, you can see a seed between two support columns. Jump between the two columns to grab it, then keep jumping. There's another seed further up, plus you can grab a crack in the wall at the top and exit this room easily.
- Use the fissures and poles to grab the two Light Seeds in the next room, them move outside.
- Achievement: As you ascend the ramp, stop at the plank that extends out from the building. You'll earn "Assassin's View."
- Keep moving up, until you reach the room with the circular gap in the middle. Jump between the planks to the yellow Power Plate, getting one more seed along the way. Exit the building the same way you did before it was cleansed.
- Back outside, grab the seed near the yellow Power Plate and then blast off to get out of this area.
- When you reach the lower platform, take the path of beams to the right. The first Light Seed along the wall can be obtained by going to the far platform, turning around and wallrunning back to get it. You can jump safely to the first beam from there.
- Instead of turning right, take a left until the narrow passageway. Keep going straight along the path to The Vale.
- When you reach the series of circular platforms, look to your left. There are two seeds along the rock wall. Two magic jumps in succession, followed by a regular jump, will get you the two seeds and safe passage to the next circular platform.
- You'll find one more seed after making a series of wall jumps. Once you get it, turn back. On your way out to the way you came into this passageway, grab the one seed in the other narrow hallway to your right.
- Once outside, continue straight, along the path with the wall on your left. The seeds along this route are fairly easy to see, until you get to the area where you need to roofrun from the series of three hanging columns.
- At the last of the three columns, first grab the Light Seed at the bottom. Then, look to the right of the platform ahead of you. The structure that blocks your view of the Citadel is a fissure running along it. Magic jump to reach it, then crawl around to the other side. Two more seeds can be found on a small platform.
- Return from where you came, and go around the corner from the yellow Power Plate that takes you into Martyr's Tower.
- There are more seeds along the path in front of you, but first, jump to the fissure along the wall to your right. Climb up the series of fissures, then wallrun to the left, where a platform protrudes from the wall. More seeds await there.
- Come back down and continue along the path, which leads to Hunter's Lair. You can reach the first seed on the wall to your right by going to the platform ahead, turning around and wallrunning back to the first plank.
- After you pass the wallrun with two rings, you'll reach a platform with two pillars near the edge, one of which has two Light Seeds near the top. Getting them is tricky, but it's possible. Start by climbing up the pillar, then magic jump to the gate on the other side of the platform. Magic jump back to the pillar, then back to the gate again. One more jump to the pillar and you should be high up enough to claim the two seeds.
- With 40 Light Seeds in hand from this area, you'll have to head to Hunter's Tower. The remaining seeds can be recovered when you get Breath of Ormazd.
- Once you have this power, fly from the yellow Power Plate at the teleport point down to the platform below. Walk to the plank on the right path, then jump up the fissures on the wall. A green Power Plate is right above.
- When you use the plate, Prince will start running along the wall to the right. Strafe slightly to the left so he continues along the rounded pathway leading to the next wall. Press Y at the next green plate to extend his run. Continue to do this until you reach a small, secluded platform holding three more seeds. This will give you all 45 Light Seeds for this area.
