Prince Fielder is a First Baseman for the Milwaukee Brewers. The son of former Major League Baseball slugger Cecil Fielder, he is considered one of the most feared power hitters in the game today.
April 8, 2009: Makers of the video game, The Bigs 2 have announced that Fielder will grace the game's cover. Early life
Prince Semien Fielder was born in Ontario, California, on May 9, 1984. He attended Eau Gallie High School. As a youth he would often accompany his father to the ballparks growing up around the game of baseball.
Pro Career
Fielder made his major league debut on June 13, 2005. In his first full season, in 2006, he led all rookies with 28 home runs. In 2007, he was selected as the starter at first base for the National League in the All-Star Game, and he would go on to lead the National League in home runs with 50 that year. He would be awarded the Silver Slugger Award, and the winner of the National League Hank Aaron Award for 2007. His contract with the Brewers was renewed on March 3, 2008.
