Primus is a Grammy-nominated Rock band fronted by lead singer and Bass player Les Claypool. While the three piece band is often classified as Alternative Rock, their style is hard to categorize, switching between Metal, Funk, Thrash and Psychedelic Rock. While the band has received only modest commercial success during their career, they have continued to record and release new material. Claypool has also been involved in a number of different side projects throughout his time in Primus, including Oysterhead and The Frog Brigade.
