What is a Presta Valve?
A Presta Valve is a special type of innertube valve used on high end road bikes and mountain bikes. It is less common than the Schrader valve, which is used on automobile innertubes, and most common bicycles. The advantage of the Presta valve is that it requires a smaller diameter hole in the wheel rim, which increases the strength of the rim. -
