RNC Complaint
The RNC Chief of Staff Ken McKay stated that he was "concerned this event will become a glorified infomercial to promote the Democrat agenda" and said he was astonished at ABC's "decision to exclude opposing voices on this critical issue." In the letter, addressed to David Westin, head of ABC News, McKay also said, "President Obama does not hold a monopoly on health care reform ideas or on free airtime" and asked that the DNC pay for the event since it was apparently not a bipartisan event.http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote/2009/06/abc-news-responds-to-rnc-letter.html
