    Present the coupon before getting the prescription filled. Many pharmacists are not familiar with coupons for prescriptions and will need to examine the coupon first.

    • If a pharmacist will not accept the coupon try another pharmacy.
    • Print out multiple copies of the coupon if it's a drug that is used frequently.
    • Do not copy the coupon after it's printed; print another new one. If there is a bar code it will not appear as clear on a copy and may not scan correctly.
    • Make sure the printer has sufficient ink to print the coupon correctly.
    • Read all terms of the coupon or savings.
