Prentice Meador

Minister Prentice Meador was hired by Tennessee's Lipscomb University as the Batsell Barrett Baxter Chair of Preaching in 2007. Prior to the position, he was the senior minister of the Prestoncrest Church of Christ in Dallas, for 19 years.The Christian Chronicle: Prentice Meador Succumbs to Illness at age 70 (November 25, 2008)

Meador died on November 25, 2008, after what was reported as a "brief illness." Meador was 70 years old.
