Thomas Beatie, a female-to-male transsexual, was born Tracy LaGondino. Beatie revealed that he was pregnant in an April 8, 2008, article published in The Advocate. Beatie gave birth to a baby girl on July 3, 2008. In an exclusive interview with Barbara Walters which will air November 14, 2008 on ABC, Beatie revealed he is pregnant again. While living as Tracy LaGondino, in Hawaii, Beatie began hormone treatments and had surgery to remove his breasts. His female reproductive organs were left intact. -
Pregnancy
Nancy Beatie was unable to become pregnant due to a hysterectomy, and the couple decided to have Thomas carry the child. It reportedly took him two attempts at artificial insemination, with the first ending in an ectopic pregnancy. -

On July 24, 2008, Thomas Beatie gave an interview and appeared in a photograph with his baby in People Magazine.
