PQI H560

PQI H560 is a 2.5" portable hard drive with protection against vibration and shock. With special rubber material and shock absorption suspension technology, the PQI H560 has gone through the US Military grade drop test (]]MIL-STD-810F 516.5]] Procedure IV for transit drop test).

The drive is compatible with most Microsoft Windows and Mac OS operating system (from Windows 98 SE to Windows 7) and from Mac OS X 10.x or above). The PQI H560 is part of the 2.5 hard drive product lines available from PQI. The other model is PQI H550. The PQI H550 features a USB Turbo Boost function which boosts the transfer write speed up to 40MB/second and read speed up to 38MB/second. Announced in October 20, 2009, The PQI H560 is available in 320GB, 500GB, and 640GB hard drive size with 3 years warranty. Two colors are available: blue and red. The 2.5 inch hard drive used in the [[PQI H560] utilizes SATA interface. A swing out USB cable (located at the top of the unit) is permanently attached to the drive reducing the need to carry a separate one. The drive is compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 specifications.

Software available to be used with PQI H560 is Ur Foretrees (pre-loaded in the hard drive) and Ur Smart (available as a download from PQI website). The Ur Foretrees is a data security and encryption software while the Ur Smart can be used for mobile office and document management software. The Ur Fortress only works with Microsoft Windows operating system (Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7).

Other notable features are push button backup and quick single-button USB removal.
