As its title suggests, Third is the third album from Trip-Hop pioneers Portishead. Released on April 29, 2008, it was the band's first full-length studio album since 1997's Portishead, Third was well received critically and debuted at #7 on the Billboard charts. The song "Machine Gun" was the first single to be released from the album and was released on March 18, 2008.
