History
Ferdinand Porsche, the founder of the company, was arrested in 1945 and accused of war crimes. He was held prisoner in France for 20 months and released without a trial. Ferry Porsche, Ferdinand's son, designed and made the firm's first car, the Porsche 365. A series of higher numbered models followed, the 911 becoming the most popular.Racing
