Pontypool

Pontypool is a 2009 horror film directed by Bruce McDonald. The screenplay is written by Tony Burgess.

Pontypool tells the story of a shock jock named Grant Mazzy, played by Stephen McHattie. One day strange reports of bizarre violent behavior in the small town start flooding the radio station. But the station is unable to get confirmation from news wires. It is soon revealed that a unique virus which has caused people to become violent is being spread through people's use of the English language. The radio crew hole up at the station. But do they stay on the air to provide information, or are they in fact helping to spread the dangerous virus by their radio broadcast?Official Site: Pontypool
