Poker is a popular card game, oftentimes played for money by players betting on the hand they are dealt. The winner is based on who holds the highest ranked combination of cards. The winner can also be the last player to not fold (drop out).

Types of Poker
Poker can be played in a variety of ways. In draw poker, each player receives five or more cards which remain hidden. The cards can be replaced by the player. Stud poker players receive five or more cards. Players are not allowed to get rid of or replace any cards. Part of the hand is also exposed. In community card poker, players can combine their cards with a set of cards dealt face up and shared by the rest of the players. The player attempts to make the best five card hand using their own cards and the community cards. The most popular version of this is Texas hold'em.
