  • The secret key in Pokemon Platinum unlocks a door that has five appliances in it. These five appliances are for the Rotom Pokemon, and allow it to change into five different forms. To obtain a secret key, you'll have to be a part of a Wi-Fi event where you can receive the "mystery gift." There have been these kinds of Wi-Fi events in Japan, but U.S. events haven't been announced yet.Serebii.net: Rotom

  • New Forms

    Rotom isn't the only Pokemon in Platinum that gets new forms. There are at least two other Pokemon that also have new forms in the game. The other two Pokemon who have new forms are the Giratina and the Shaymin. The Giratina gets it's origin form, and Shaymin now has a sky form.
