When players die in the video game Explorers of Time, they can send out an SOS call asking their friends for help. Players may do this via passwords, DS Wireless communications or a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Many people post their SOS calls to online message boards such as the ones on GameFAQs. Likewise, players can also receive rescue requests via e-mail or text messages.
Explorers of Time (along with Explorers of Darkness) is a single player, dungeon role-playing game for the Nintendo DS. In the game, players choose two pokemon and fight through dungeons to complete missions. Both Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness were released in the US on April 20th, 2008.
