Poison The Well

Poison The Well is a hardcore metal band from Miami, Florida.

Poison The Well was originally started by Aryeh Lehrer and Ryan Primack. While recording under the name An Acre Lost, they released a 12" on Ohev Records with the band Promise No Tomorrow. Soon after the release, the band changed their name to Poison The Well. Their debut album, Distance Only Makes The Heart Grow Fonder, was released in 1998 and brought them to the attention of Trustkill Records, who signed them to a multi-album deal. After releasing two albums and gaining attention from Atlantic Records, they left Trustkill. They released one album with Atlantic before deciding to leave because of creative differences. They are currently signed with Ferret Music.
