The poicephalus parrot is a small-to-medium sized parrot native to Africa. Poicephalus parrots resemble small Amazon parrots.
Poicephalus Parrots can be somewhat shy and require patience while training. Although poicephalus parrots are not known for talking, they can be taught a few words.
