    Pogo.com started out in 1996 as the Total Entertainment Network (TEN) at the domain Ten.net. The name and domain changed to Pogo.com on September 1, 1999.

    While the site originally featured hard-core violent first-person shooting games like Quake and Unreal, it was unable to produce a profit.

    One of the unique features of Pogo games is the ability of the players to win real cash and prizes from the website.

    While players must be citizens of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec) to win, they are not required to purchase a membership on the site.

    There are daily, weekly and monthly cash drawings. In order to enter a drawing, players collect game tokens by playing games online and then submit them once they've gathered enough to enter.
