Plaquenil (Hydroxychloroquine) is classified as an anti-malarial drug, used in the prevention and treatment of Malaria. It also used to treat the symptoms of inflammation in rheumatic diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.
