Planetfesto.org has a goal to build a virtual ribbon around the world with its environmental movement that's based a Web 2.0 social movement. Stretching this ribbon around the planet Earth would be awesome. Every ribbon is made up of a photo or drawing which shows with an explanation why the person loves our planet with their pledge and action plan. The site has a quote by Wendell Berry stating, "What we do not love, we will not save." The site is filled with enlightening music and listed are ideas of things people can do to make a difference, as well as lesson plans for teachers. People can also rate a piece of the ribbon on the site.
