Planetary

Planetary is a comic book series featuring a global organization of the same name, whose purpose is to investigate the unexplained and impossible. In doing so, it covers a variety of settings from supernatural to science-fictional. The series is limited to a single volume of 27 issues. The final issue has yet to be released, although writer Warren Ellis has reportedly finished its final draft.

The series is known for its writing style which makes indirect references not only to other established comic book characters like The Fantastic Four, but also to popular literary icons like Sherlock Holmes and Dracula.
