Reviews

"They mix standard reporting with that annoying “I am the story” approach journalists use when they think viewers aren’t sophisticated enough tobe concerned about an important issue for its own sake."New York TimesNew York Times: Planet in Peril Review (October 23, 2007)

"The special seems as if it was haphazardly cobbled together, linked only under a rough umbrella of eco-concerns. (Warning to the young or squeamish: There are many graphic clips of animals, some still living, being chopped into bloody bits.)"The Boston HeraldBoston Herald: Planet Will Leave Heads Spinning (December 11, 2008)

"Ambitious in its scope and high-definition look, "Planet in Peril" is a laudable premise, but also highlights how the emphasis on showcasing reporters in the field can obscure the message as opposed to helping clarify it."VarietyVariety: Planet in Peril Review (October 22, 2007)
