Pittsburgh Restaurants

  • Pittsburgh is a city in Pennsylvania, the second largest to be exact. Restaurants are said ti be difficult to find in the city, depending on the neighborhood. The best bets for good dining is the Downtown, Mount Washington and the South Side districts.
  • Fine Dining

One of the best rated, fine-dining establishments in Pittsburgh is Le Pommier. The taste is a bit French and a bit American, but the menu changes frequently and the ingredients are always fresh. Menu options include beef, duck, fish and even a bit of vegetarian. "Fine wines" are served with the meals and if the weather is nice, an outdoor eating area is available.
  • Affordable Dining

The Primanti Brothers Restaurant has ten locations spread throughout Pittsburgh. Most, if not all are well-rated and recommended. They've been called an "institution" that is "famous" for making the well-known cheesesteak with fries, coleslaw and tomatoes, all on one sandwich. They really do seem to serve up some good ol' American cooking that people just can't get enough of. They even have locations at Heinz Field and Pirate Ball Park.
