At World's End is the third film in the Pirates of the Caribbean series.
The movie follows the crew of the Black Pearl attempting to rescue Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) from Davey Jones' Locker. Once Jack has been brought back to the ship, the crew prepares to go up against the East India Trading Company, who have teamed up with Davey Jones and his ship of damned souls. Jones and Lord Beckett have set out to eliminate piracy and all how practice it. This results in a coming together of all the pirate lords from around the world, who must thwart their enemies in order to survive.

Reaction
The film was a success at the box office, making $960 million and becoming the highest grossing film of 2007. Despite its success, the movie received mixed reviews from critics and fans who stated that the story was complicated and hard to follow. However, plans are already in the works for the next "Pirates" film. -
